In an decrepit asylum
Where nothing has ever changed
Flickering lights loudly hum
Here, the mentally sound slowly become deranged
And the sane slowly become insane
Dust fills the darkly lit halls
And patients moan and complain
Mold and decay cover the walls
Enormous squeaking rats scurry
Across the wet, bloodstained floor
Impatient doctors hurry
To each patients’ door
Each room reeks strongly of feces
And blood stains cover discarded gurneys
The asylum tells a horror story of the human species
And the stumbling insane continue their journeys
