so i'm sick. i threw up last night. luckily my boyfriend noah helped me and stayed awake with me until i fell asleep.

it's now 9:30am and i'm laying on the couch covered in blankets. noah is still sleeping in our bed upstairs.

my head is banging and my stomach hurts. i threw up again this morning but didn't tell noah. i let him sleep.

i hear foot steps coming down the stairs.

"babe?" noah says looking around.

the couch doesn't face the stairs so he can't see me.

i put my hand in the hair so he can just see my arm.

his footsteps come closer to the couch. he sits on the couch beside me whilst i'm laying down.

"are you okay?" noah asks caressing my cheeks.

i shake my head no.

"do you still feel sick babi?" he asks softly.

i nod yes.

"have you thrown up again?"

i nod.

"why didn't you wake me up princess?" noah asks.

i shrug.

"let me get you some medicine" he says then going to get some from the kitchen.

he comes back with medicine and a glass of water.

he sets the water down on the coffee table and puts the medicine to my mouth.

"no" i whine moving my head away from the medicine.

"come on baby i know you don't like it but the sooner you get it done the sooner you'll feel better!" he says.

"fine" i mumble and take the medicine.

"good girl" he says putting the medicine away and giving me a short kiss on my forehead.

"do you want cuddles?" he asks stroking my leg.

i just nod and he picks me up and carries me upstairs to our room.

he tucks us both in the bed and pulls me close.
