Chapter 11 ~ The Dance

Okay the first thing I see when I walk in is my ex, Lucifer, the name really suits him. He slipped me one last year at homecoming. That night was the first night since 7th grade that I wasn't clean of drugs and alcohol. When I first walk in I see him and I then, automatically walk out. I cried and told Cooper I wanted to leave. So we went home and never went back. This is why I love Cooper. He doesn't need a reason he just does it if he can. So we get home and he lays me on his bed. He lets me rest for awhile and then he woke me up and had a surprise for me. He said that we're going to the Movies and after that shopping and at the end of the day we're taking a walk on the beach. He picks out the saddest movie he can find.

-------okay I don't know what he thinks girls like, but obviously it's sad movies

While we're sitting in the movies I see Lucy! I run up to her and hug her harder than anyone has ever hugged her before. She starts crying she's so excited to see me. But I know that Cooper would be disappointed if I left him so I go back to my seat. He's so happy he's crying. He just got a text from his mom.

Mom😊-Honey! We won a trip to Paris! You can either go with one person or me. I was thinking maybe you and Fiona could go.
Cooper-THAT SOUNDS AMAZING!!! I just have to check with Fiona's mom!
Mom😊-Okay call me when ur at her house

"What is it Cooper?"

"WE ARE GOING TO PARIS TOGETHER!"

"Are you serious?!?"

"Yes! I just have to check with your mom if it's okay"

"Okay let's go!"

When we get in the car I ask him something.

"What is the perfect girl, to you?"

"You!"

I smile and look forward. When we get to my house we both run inside smiling.

Me-Mom! Mom! Mom!

Mom-What? What? What?

Me-Coopers mom won tickets to Paris! She's wondering if Cooper and I could go together!

Cooper-Yeah she'll be safe, I promise.

Mom-I want to say yes, but first I need to know, when you're coming back?

Cooper-One week before her golden birthday!

Mom-Okay sounds good! When are you guys leaving?

Cooper-Tomorrow

Mom-Tomorrow?

Cooper-Tomorrow.

Mom-Okay sounds good you guys better start packing now!

Me-Okay I'll text you bye Cooper

Cooper-Bye

When he leaves I get packing right away, I finish in about twenty minutes. I call him and he picks me up so we can have our final walk on the beach. I love Cooper!
