Hey bread!

I would like to thank y'all for getting here. Thank you for your unvarying support from the start until the very end. This will be the last part of the story. I'm planning to self-publish this one when the time comes. For now, let's enjoy the last adventure of our amazing soul wanderer. Our Twinkle Apolonia Soulsiri ✨

... ••••••-••••••...

6 years had passed, but the pain was still vivid. I've always been asking myself if I could still start for a new beginning.

If I'm still capable of living the way I've always dreamt of. And my answer is yes.

Of course, I can. I let myself change the life I used to be. Because we can only find our true direction when we let the wind of change carry us.

And now I am here, proudly staring in front of my own baked shop. It's my grand opening. I want to jump out of happiness!

"Ms. Soulsiri, congratulations. I'm not late for the grand opening of your baked Shop, am I?" He let out a chuckle.

My eyes lit up. A familiar man approached me. He's wearing a casual shirt paired with spring summer pants.

"You're not late, but in case you need a ballpen, I don't have one to offer." I let out a young contagious laugh.

He also responded with a loud immoderate laugh.

"Is that a joke or what Siri, please stop doing that. I feel so guilty about what happen years ago. Can you imagine how I felt? Lalo na nang makita kitang nakabulagta sa daan. God knows how much I blamed myself."

It's funny how he acts like he's supposed to explain everything when he's not at fault.

I just shrugged while staring at him. I tried to hide my smirk, but I failed coz he caught me off guard.

"Do you think it's funny Siri? Come on let's go, I want to have a free treat from the owner." He playfully teased me before he quickly entered inside the shop.

I chuckled. Isip bata pa rin si Gunner.

Pumasok na rin ako sa loob, I even greeted my batchmates and some familiar faces inside the shop.

And can't believe it, Gunner really found a comfortable sit and mesmerizing spot near the side window with a view of the classical road.

He waved his hand and he smiled brightly. I placidly smiled before turning inside the bakehouse.

"Hi Ma'am, marami pong pumuntang customer. Karamihan po at friends niyo, isa na po sina Sir Mego and Ma'am Blessie." Masayang ibinatid sa akin ni Tami, my pâtissier.

Nakangiti akong tumango.

"Good to know, uhm ate okay na ba ang lahat? Mga kailangan or whatever settled na ba? I feel nervous talaga." natatawa at kinakabahan kong tanong.

Looks like there's someone who's not yet ready for this. Come on, Siri!

Ngumiti si Tami at hinawakan ang kamay ko.

"Don't worry ma'am, just relax and trust your employees. Magaling kang owner kaya wala dapat ikabahala. " I returned with an encouraging smile.

Huminga ako nang malalim at sumilip sa labas.

Kinawayan ako ni Mego and Blessie so I decided to approach them for a small talk.

"Siri, can't believe may sarili ka ng baked Shop. Napakarami mo ng achievements sa buhay, jowa na lang ang kulang." He teased out.

Nakitawa na rin si Blessie. Umupo ako sa tabi ni Blessie.

"Parang kayo hindi successful ha, so kailan ba ang kasal, Blessie?" ako naman ang nang-asar.
