Lauren had been cleaning since she got to the laboratory she sees ale in his lab working on some pieces of metal in hand and her dad working with him and teaching him how to do it lauren goes to the janitor closet taking her headphones out and blasting Melanie Martinez music while cleaning she finished the first floor it took her two hours max
She moved to the next floor which only took one hour because some people in the building helps her with the cleaning They're very nice people kind they offered Lauren money when they see her working hard it's a tip for working
Lauren moved to the third floor the floor where no one gives a fuck she usually takes long time to clean that floor because the people in there are mean to her they always throw trash at her laughing because she's a janitor they think they're better then everyone
"Hey girl how about you and me my office I can show you a good time" the same guy that has been hitting on her since she started to work here
Brad Simpson that guy is full of himself he thinks his better then everyone and has the right to do whatever she never said anything to him he didn't go further then just cat calling her or treating her like a trash
Lauren tried her best to ignore him but when he puts his hand on her she flinched looking at who had touched her it was him he was angry
"Why don't you talk to me whore I know you want me come to my office now it's not a request it's an order" brad said furious
"Iam sorry sir but I don't work for you I work for the office so your orders doesn't imply to me so would you be kind and remove your hands please and let me get back to my work i would like to finish this floor without being mistreated or cat called or some men telling me they can show me a good time I don't want it now leave me alone or I will report you to ale and you know how he is" Lauren snapped back at brad who looked terrified
"I swear if you tell anything to him I will kill you you hear me" brad threatened Lauren
Ale is overprotective of Lauren he couldn't protect his own daughter so he swore he would protect Lauren he told her if she felt uncomfortable or someone is being mean to her she should report them to him
"Your threatening me ale won't be happy when he hears this I advise you to remove your hands and let me work or I will tell him everything you did to me and see what happeneds then" Lauren shot back at him he finally removed his hand from Lauren
Lauren continued the cleaning and still got cat called by at least 4 men in the office brad Jacob Marcus Mason zac there all above the age of 30 except for brad his Lauren's age she felt disgusted once she finally finished cleaning it took her 6 hours to clean the whole building Lauren wasn't tired or exhausted at all
The exist is next to ale's lab Lauren was walking to the lab shes planing on reporting the men that had been harassing her while she worked
Lauren entered the lab her father isn't there so it seems like he went home so she approached ale he looked surprised
"What's wrong Lauren is everything alright" ale calming voice brought her back from her thoughts
As much as Lauren wanted to cry it was impossible for her to shed a tear she tried so hard to the point were she started to watch sad movies but it never worked
Ale saw the sad expression on the girls face and just hugged her Lauren relaxed and pulled away from the hug
" now tell me what's wrong" ale said
"Since I started to work here there is this man who's trying to get in my pants for years now he would cat call me call me mean names and stuff" Lauren explained she's really sad
"What! Tell me who is he and he would be fired" ale said in a serious tone
"It's brad Simpson" Lauren said
"It's done except him to be fired by tomorrow it will set an example for the other people who did that to you and you won't be facing any problems" ale said
Lauren was about to leave but when she saw thta ale is working on a robotic arm she thought it was his next project for disabled people but when she looked to the side she met with two legs and one arm Lauren just left to her house
"Hey honey how was work" Clara's voice filled the room
"It was fine I have a lot of homework to do I will see you later mom" Lauren said and her mom said good bye
Lauren was doing her homework when she heard her parents arguing they rarely argue So she decided to hear it
"Are you serious mike you won't tell her why she deserves to know the fucking truth mike" Clara yells at mike
"No she doesn't need to know that Clara a lie is better then the truth" mike says angry
"You can't keep this away from her mike you will fuck up and she would have so many questions she's 21 she deserves to know the truth" Clara said firing back at mike
"What truth?" Mike asked
"She's not the only child"
