Fab 5 along with nandani and navya was seated. As usual cabir was busy in food, navya was seated beside him completing her assignment. Mukti and alya were discussing about the designs they made for designing class and dhruv was playing game siting beside alya. Nandani was busy reading book while Manik was looking at her pouting as she was not giving him attention. Finally, having enough he knock on the book to distract her but earned a book smack on his head to which everyone laughed. Manik made a bad face seeing his friend laughing on his cost.

Ma: Nandu sun naaa

Na: I swear Manik I'll throw you out ( frustrated)

Manik immediately engrossed himself in his food knowing the fact that she can surely do that. Seeing this, cabir chuckled and was about to say something when nandani spoke making him quite.

Na: ( to cabir) and if you ( threatening) open that mouth of yours, I'll not let you eat for the whole day.

And cabir also became silent. Manik grinned seeing this and turn to nandani who was reading her novel. He decided to wait till she complete it and till them admired her. This behaviour of Manik shocked not only his friends but the whole college. He was known for his arrogance, bullying nature. Never in their wildest dreams they imagined Manik like this, cute. They didn't know that this is the same Manik malhotra, the only difference is he is not a monster to Nandani. She became his peace, his anger control pill. He never want to hurt her or cause any pain to her and that's why he always control himself I'm front of him. Manik malhotra is caring for someone, he is controlling his anger for someone. Last not the least, he is opening himself to someone without any fear of getting hurt because his heart know he can trust her with his whole life.

Nandani finally finished a certain portion of the book and kept inside the bag. She looked at Manik who was already looking at her and grinned seeing this. Nandani too smiled seeing him grinning like a fool.

Na: Manik ( before she could say anything )

Ma: ( grinned) do you have any classes or we directly go home?

Na: first we need to go grocery shopping

Ma: ( frowned) we just went day before yesterday

Na: oh really ( sarcastic) thank you manik for reminding me. Now let me do a favour to you and remind you that you literally ate every fucking fruit in house and few hours back you were demanding fruit salad. ( glaring him)

Manik immediately became silent. Taking 'panga' with Nandani when she is annoyed is not a good idea. He simply stood up and move out dragging nandani with him. Seeing this, their friends giggled. Reaching the parking area, nandani pulled Manik behind a pillar. This was so sudden and Manik was about to say something, when he noticed that nandani's eyes were blood red and her nose was bleeding. Immediately, he took out his handkerchief and put it on her nose, pressing it lightly in order to stop the bleeding. Then picking her up in his arms he walked to car and made her sit on passenger seat and he started driving.

Ma: Nandani what the hell is happening with you? ( worriedly)

Na: I don't know Manik ( weekly) I...

Not hearing manik looked at her and saw her breathing heavily. She was feeling extremely weak and her eyes was closing. Seeing this, manik speed up the car and soon they were at the hospital parking. He picked her up again and rushed inside the hospital. Looking at the condition of Nandani, asked directly took them to the emergency room ask Manik to place her on the bed.

Ma: Nandu it's gonna be okay

Nandani's head was throbbing but still she managed to nod at him. Doctor on duty came there and checked her. He asked Manik what happened and Manik Manik explained him. He was holding her hand assuring her that everything is fine. Manik was scared as the blood was not stopping. His handkerchief was soaked with her blood and still hasn't stop. A nurse came and replaced his handkerchief with a cotton and gave her a tablet with water. She asked her to lie down straight for few minutes.

Doc: young man relax. She is going to be just fine. Her blood pressure was really high and that is the reason of her nose bleed. I have written a medicine ( handling him the prescription) for a week give her two times a day and after that whenever her blood pressure fluctuate. And make sure her food has less salt for few days.

Manik sighed in relief hearing him. He looked at nandani. She was lying with her eyes closed.

Ma: can I take her home now ?

Doc : of course you can, just make sure she take rest.

Doctor patted his shoulder with a smile and left from there. Manik sat beside nandani and caressed her hair. Feeling his touch, nandani opened her eyes and smiled meekly at him. She removed the cotton placed on her nose as the bleeding stopped and sat up straight. Manik hugged her tightly as if hiding her in his arms.

Ma: I got really scared nandani seeing you like that.

Na: I'm fine Manik ( caressing his hair) ghar chale ?

Manik nodded. He stood up and pick her making her grin at him. He walked towards the parking area. Though the people around were giving them weird look but who care.

Na: sometimes you are too cute and sometimes too annoying. You annoy me so much that I feel like pulling your hair.

Initially Manik smile and thought to tease her but then she started ranting about how annoying he is. Manik made a bad face hearing this and made her stand.

Na: kya hua

Nandani asked being confused. They just entered the parking area and their car was few steps away.

Ma: mai toh annoying hu toh khud hi chali jao.

Na: annoying toh the hai ab kamchor bhi hogye

Nandani said palming her face and took keys from his jeans pocket. She start moving towards their car while Manik stood their with open mouth. He thought she might say few words to manofy him but nandani is nandani. She simply went.

Na: tumhe aana hai ki vahi khare rehna hai

Nandani shouted reaching the car. Seeing her seating at the driving seat, manik ran to her.

Ma: drive mai krunga...pta chala accident karwa diya

Na: you seriously doubt my ability

Nandani asked raising her eyebrow. This made Manik chuckle. How can he underestimate her? And he just not talking about her strength but also the effect she has on him. He always thought love was not his cup of tea. He can never get someone compatible to him. He can never care about someone other than fab 5. But what he didn't know was that destiny has its own plan. He got someone who effortlessly changed him. He know he is falling for her and he is not afraid.
