02. concert

Today was the day,

The day of...

...the TXT concert that I'd been so excited for ever since the day that it'd been announced.

My ticket was clutched in my hand, my lightstick in the other, and the straps of my backpack hanging on my shoulders, I was ready to go. I just needed to wait for my friends Tae and Stella, and then I could leave.

A few minutes later, the doorbell to my apartment sounds. I open the door and Tae and Stella are standing right there, with their concert things ready with them as well. I greet them briefly, and then we leave to get to the concert.

We make our way down the stairs of my apartment block to get to the door out of the building, and once we are out, we take the 2-minute walk to the bus station and wait.

The wait for the bus isn't long at all - it came just a few minutes after we took our seats at the station. We make our way onto the bus, and it drives to the venue.

Once we arrive, we stand in the long line to get into the arena. 

After a long while waiting and talking to each other about how excited we are to see TXT perform, we finally get into the concert. we walk into the arena to take our seats.

The best thing is, our seats are right at the front row! Stella managed to get onto the ticket buying website early and secured us three of the best seats in the entire stadium. As we sit down, I turn my lightstick on and start waving it around.

A few minutes later, music starts playing and bright, colourful lights start shining over the entire arena. I see 5 tall, statuesque silhouettes standing on the stage, and Blue Hour starts booming from the speakers. As it does, the silhouettes soon turn into visible people, and they start to perform the dance routine to the song.

The angelic voices of Yeonjun, Soobin, Beomgyu, Taehyun and Kai fill my ears with sweet, harmonic melodies. 

'Wow....' I think to myself. 'I've never been to a concert before. This is such an amazing experience, being so close to my idols.'

Everything is perfect, except for all of a sudden, my heart starts beating faster than normal. A dizziness takes over me, and everything started to blur and darken. I- I- I think I'm g-going to....

Faint.

My eyes are closed. All of a sudden, I feel this kissing sensation, right on my lips. Surprised, I slowly open my eyes to find that I am on the floor. My head hurts, and everything is blurry. But a few seconds later, all the blurred shapes and colours start to gradually turn into distinguishable objects.

There are five people standing over me; two paramedics, Tae and Stella, and...

...Huening Kai?!

Tae smiles at me and they say, "Y/N, do you know that Kai kissed you on the lips, when there was no hope left, when it seemed like that you weren't going to wake up. He kissed you, and you woke."

I looked at Kai and blushed profusely. I say, "Oh my God... is this true?"

He smiles and takes my hand, and says "Yes, it is. I don't know you, but I feel this compelling, unstoppable love towards you."

I stand up and go on my tiptoes to reach his height, and I kiss him back.

"What's your name?" he asks me.

"My name is [Y/N]," I reply to him, smiling.

"[Y/N], will you be my girlfriend?"

"YES YES YES!"
