Keanu Ray Smith is the oldest child of Kai and Tiru. He inherited his father's Elemental Power, but his dragon ancestry gave him the ability to set himself on fire into a huge fireball at will. He has a similar personality to his dad in the first season, having a short temper and a bit of an ego. He often hears how he's the carbon copy is his dad, and is so tired of it. His name means "cool breeze over mountains" and is considered more of a dragon name. His mother named him that because when he was born, the white scales extended almost entirely over the left side of his torso, though to her relief, they shed off when he was a toddler to only the places you see now. He's currently eighteen and training to be a ninja, as he's not sure what he wants to do with his life yet.

Rehan Zayden Smith and Lake Ashland Smith are the twin sons of Kai and Tiru. Rehan is the older one while Lake is the younger. Both of them didn't directly inherit their father's Elemental Power, but they both have the ability to breathe fire from their mouths, Rehan having red fire and Lake having blue. Rehan is a very outgoing, bold kid while Lake is timid and suffers from self-doubt, he was born sickly and as a result of an infection, lost the hearing in his right ear. Rehan was named after a basil plant, as Tiru's mother had been an herbalist, and Lake was named after how his parents met. Both boys are currently fourteen, Rehan highly enjoys music and knows how to play a variety of instruments, while Lake enjoys making treats with his Uncle Zane and Uncle Lloyd and reading in a quiet spot.
