When Dib started his last year of High Skool, a new girl arrived in The City.
Brienna "Binx" Fernsby...
Beautiful, tall, smart, interested in the paranormal and supernatural. But there was only one problem...
Her past.
The Past that kept coming back...
Brienna "Binx" Fernsby had just moved to The City to start her Senior year of High school....or Skool as the sign read.
While she was excited to have a fresh start, she felt dread.
What makes this school different from all the others? No matter where she goes, the past will always follow her. She gave a sigh as she and her family parked in the driveway of their new home.
While her mom and dad began unloading things from the moving van and her little brother ran around like an idiot, Binx could only stare at the house(or what she thought was a house) across the street.

'What the hell? Is that even a house? Or one of those Freakazoid labs? Eh whatever, it looks pretty cool." Binx got out of the car and stretched. Man, who knew a five hour car ride could make you feel like you've been folded in half a million times? Note the sarcasm.
Suddenly she heard a deep hearty voice as she grabbed her paranormal investigative bag, or her P.I.B.
"Hello there new neighbors! Welcome to the neighborhood!" Binx turned around to see this,

Binx looked at the man. Cool. Whatever. Her mom answered. "Oh hi! I'm Mariah Fernsby. And this is my husband Jack, my son Max, and....wait, where's-oh there she is!" She said, grabbing Binx's arm and dragging her over to the man. Binx was not amused.

"And this little beauty is my daughter, Brienna." Binx rolled her eyes. "Ugh, mom, how many times do I have to tell you, I go by Binx."
The man chuckled. "Well it's a pleasure to meet all of you! I am Professor Membrane. I live just across the street!" Binx rolled her eyes again. "And what a coincidence! I have two children as well, about the same ages as yours!" Binx's mom nudged her side, "didja hear that sweetie, maybe you could make friends!"
Professor Membrane chuckled again. "What a splendid idea! How about you two go play with my kids while I help your parents. That is, if your parents are ok with it?" Mom nodded eagerly. "Perfect!" Binx grumbled "I don't want to." Her father shook his head, "Go Brienna." He said warningly.
Binx reluctantly stomped across the street, Max in tow, before snarling, "it's Binx!"
