Stephens POV:

Stephen put on another pair of pants before someone knocked at the door.

That was close

„Come in!" he says.

„Hey Stephen." Christine announced herself. „I saw Y/n walking down the hall. There are some rumors..." she smirks.

„What do you mean."

"Are you two... In a relationship?."

„I'm going to ask her tonight."

„Oh, that's exciting!"

Stephen rolled his eyes and chuckled.

„It's not a big deal."

„Stephen, I know it is for you. I know you, and you changed for the better since you met her. I can see, she makes you happy."

Stephen rubbed his neck, not wanting to admit that he fell, hard, for you. That he felt like a 15 year old boy, playing spin the bottle and wishing that it would land on his crush.

„Yeah, I guess so."

„Don't play the cool guy with me Stephen." She placed one hand on her hip. „Anyway, what did you plan for that special occasion?."

„Oh! Look at the clock. You have to go. Very important meeting." Stephen stood up and accompanied Christine towards the door. Nearly forcing her by pushing her back.

„Ok. You don't want to tell me, that's fine." She spun around to face Stephen. „You're acting like a child. That's cute. Remembers me of the time when we were... Have fun!" She quickly changed the subject and left his office.

Yeah, Stephen and Christine had a good time together, but that was over now. He was over it, and it was a long time ago. Now, he only wanted to concentrate on you. Only you.

Normal POV:
Looking at your schedule, you made sure that you had made everything, prepared everything and organized everything for the coming days of work.

When there was nothing else to do anymore, you packed your things from your locker and headed for the elevator. You pushed the button for the parking. You would wait there for Stephen. The elevator drove down a couple of floors until it stopped and your prince in shining armor entered.

„Y/n!" Stephen said in a surprised tone that made you smile. „What a coincidence to see you here. How long has it been? Years."

You only laughed and the elevator closed its doors.

You then took him by his collar to kiss him lovingly. „I missed you too." you said afterwards.

Stephen smiled and gave you a peck on your cheek. He wrapped an arm around you, the hand now being on your waist. It was a sweet moment.

When the doors opened again, you walked out and headed to his car.

„Where are we going again?" you asked while fasten your seatbelt.

„I want to show you my place now."

This is when you remembered that he was rich. During all the time you spend with him, you had forgotten it. People would think How could you forget something like that?! But when you were with someone you truly... loved, this wasn't important. However, this made you suppose that he had either a big house or a fancy apartment, and your place compared to his was nothing. You looked at Stephen while he was driving and concentrating on the road. He had his hand, like always, on your thigh. This whole thing made you rethink everything.
