The group made their way to the bar inside the lodge. Edward made his way to the bathroom inside the bar inside the lodge. Spinning down the mountain really did not agree with him.

Mary found a table for them to lay claim to. They ordered drinks and snacks, and they buckled down for a day of lodge bunny activities. Mainly drinking, eating, and gossiping.

"You know what I have always wanted to do?" Daisy asked after they'd been there for a bit. She had a sly grin on her face. "A shot from one of those skis? Like with your friends?"

"A shot ski?" Mary asked. "Yes. One thousand times yes."

Y/N laughed. That sounded like something Mary would want to do.

"We need 3 for the ski, Y/N. Are you in?" Daisy pleaded. Y/N nodded in response.

Daisy jumped up and almost ran to the bar. "I'll go get it!" Y/N laughed again.

"Glad she's better. Seemed like she was in a funk at breakfast," Mary noted.

"Maybe she's not a morning person." Y/N had no reason to discuss Daisy's private business without her there.

A few minutes later, Daisy returned. She walked slowly, carrying a ski with three circular divots in it. Inside of them were three shot glasses filled to the brim. She was careful not to spill any of them.

"Alright, let's do this" Daisy seemed very excited. Mary and Y/N lined up on either side, grabbed the ski, and all three tipped the shots into their mouths simultaneously.

"Bleh!" Mary grimaced. "I hate vodka shots. Let's do a tequila one." She raced away to swap out the old shot glasses with new tequila ones on the ski. Y/N felt like this was a dangerous move, but she decided to throw caution to the wind. She was having fun with her friends.

Mary gingerly walked back, also careful not to spill. On one edge of the ski, Y/N also noted that she had brought limes and some salt.

The ritual of the tequila shot - salt, tequila, lime - was followed to the T, allowing for the addition of the ski.

"Bleh!" Mary grimaced again. "Maybe I'm just bad at doing shots."

Y/N decided to return the ski to the bar. She found Mickey, Edward, Tom, and Chris chatting while sipping on their drinks. Edward must have recovered from the tubing debacle. He caught her eye, then flicked his eyes towards Chris. Chris was loudly telling the other men some story and laughing. Edward gave her a quick wink, and turned his attention back to the conversation.

Y/N scurried away, back to the relative safety of the table and her friends. As she sat, the other two women laughed.

"What did I miss?"

"We're trading embarrassing sex stories. Mary was telling me about how she and Joe almost got caught by his parents."

"I don't think I know this one?" Y/N was shocked. She knew most of Mary's stories.

"Oh I for sure told you. It was right when we first started dating. We went to his grandparents' lakehouse with his entire family?" Mary took a sip of her drink, a sort-of-ashamed look on her face. "We were young and in love and very dumb. We thought we'd have enough time before his parents came back from the store. We obviously did not." She laughed. "Anyway, Joe heard the front door open, clamped his hand on my mouth, and then leaned off the bed to shut the bedroom door."

"You didn't bother to close the door?" Daisy asked, mortified.

"We were busy! And we totally finished once we heard them go back outside." Mary raised her glass triumphantly in the air. "To semi-oblivious parents."
