I worked the same classroom as Kristie who had been friends with Britt before I started at the pre-school. It isn't surprising that the three of us quickly formed a close friendship since Britt and I are so much alike, and Kristie is always willing to listen to every one of our stories.
"I actually knew Britt was going to ask you. I kept it a secret." Kristie admitted.
"I can't believe you two!" I exclaimed grinning from ear to ear and dividing my gaze between them. "The concert is in 3 days! What am I going to wear?"
"Seriously? You know you can borrow anything from me." Britt said rolling her eyes. "Or we could just go shopping!"
Britt loved to shop and has a habit of being the first to buy all the newest trends.
"The concert is Friday, and I have to work every day until then. When can I shop?" I said with a sigh.
"Well. No one but Kristie knows you are going with me, we can just keep it a secret. Call in sick on Friday and lets shop!" She squealed.
"Okay, lets do it." I reply with a grin plastered on my face.
"Well, I have class in the morning, so I'll have to meet up with you" Britt had recently changed her major to Nursing and was taking extra classes to get back on track.
"Sounds good"
The next couple of days went by fast, and I was so happy I couldn't contain myself. Everyone at work was so curious as to what had sparked the behavior and I had to remain silent, but I had to keep my little secret.
