What if Sullivan was introduced as the new Battalion Chief and Andy got to be Captain. But both have a big secret.

Some details for the beginning: Ripley is Robert's best friend and Vic is Andy's best friend.
Vic and Ripley are married for 5 years. Maya and Carina are a couple. Pruitt died when he first had cancer.

Ripley: Good morning 19. May I introduce you to your new Battalion Chief Robert Sullivan.

Sullivan: Good morning. After I know your names, I would like to get some breakfast with you, before your shift starts.

Sullivan: Nice to meet you. Let's grab something to eat. I would like to know more about the people who work in this popular station. Captain Herrera can I talk to you for a second.

Herrera: Sure. Let's go in my office.

In Andy's office

Andy: I hope that they don't find out about us. They know that I'm married, but not to who. And when they find out it's my battalion chief, they will be mad. I mean very mad.

Robert: Andy, calm down. Everything is going to be ok. And when they find out, it doesn't matter the department knows about us. We are married for 15 years now - they can't do anything to separate us.

Andy: Yeah, you're right. Let's go up now before they become suspicious.

In the beanery

Sullivan: I brought some donuts hope you like them. During you eat, you can probably tell me something about you.

Jack: I'm single and I know Dean since the academy.

Dean: I'm single. I just broke up with my girlfriend and I live in a houseboat.

Vic: I'm married. Now be prepared for something embarrassing. I yelled at Chief Ripley – Two times. Now we are 5 years married. Andy is my best friend.

Andy: I'm married. Soon 15 years. I met Maya in the academy.

Maya: I have a girlfriend and won the golden Olympic medal once. My girlfriend is a doctor at Grey Sloan.

Ben: I'm married. My wife is chief of surgery in Grey Sloan. I was a surgeon before I became a Firefighter and before that I was an anesthetist.

Travis: I'm single. My husband died. He was a firefighter too and I would call Vic my best friend. What about you Chief?

Sullivan: I'm married. I like to mix smoothies and Chief Ripley is one of my best friends.

After they had breakfast Andy had to tell the team something.

Andy: Today, a group of elementary school students is visiting us. So, clean everything up Jack, Maya you're on Aid Car.

After 2 hours the students arrived. What nobody knew – Andy's and Sullivan's kids were two of these kids.

Andy separated all Station 19 members in pairs. Jack and Maya, Vic and Travis, Dean and Ben and Sullivan and her.

Jack and Maya had the easiest part. They had to show the fire truck. Vic and Travis showed the kids around, Dean and Ben where on desk duty and Andy and Robert were cooking dinner.

After 1 hour

Travis: Hey Andy. Two of these kids are so cute. Their names are Evan and Liam. They say their parents are firefighters and they also want to be firefighters when they are older.

Andy: Oh Travis, that's amazing. I mean that they want to be firefighters, please show them to me after lunch.

After lunch

Andy: Chief Sullivan can I talk to you for a second.

Robert: Sure. Maybe we should go in your office.

In the office

Andy: Our kids told Travis that their parents were firefighters, and I don't think that they would play our game "You don't know me" any longer. Maybe we should talk to them.

Robert: How do you want to explain what's going on to the team?

Andy: Well, we could go camping or so with the team and then explain everything to them.

Robert: Sounds like an idea, but wouldn't it be easier to just invite them to our place.

Andy: Yeah, that would be easier. So, when the kids leave, I'm just going to invite them to our place on Saturday.

Robert: Do that. I love you.

Andy: I love you too.

The share a chick kiss and then go back upstairs to clean the kitchen.

After the kids left

Andy: 19, line up. I'm inviting you all over to my place on Saturday. I'll send you the address and you can meet husband. He is going to cook pasta and steaks.

Maya: Sounds like a plan Herrera.
