Surrera one shots

What if

I'm sorry for not updating so long. I'm kinda unmotivated to write. I wrote this One Shot after the last episode of season 4 came out put forgot to post it. I hope you like it.

Ok. Like they want to mess up Surrera, like what do they think.

So, I just decided to write my thoughts about how they could have written their story with less drama.

I will begin after the L.A. wildfire. Instead of just telling Andy to go they could have written something like that:

Andy: Why? What happened? One second ago everything was fine and when I came back you tell me                                                              to go. What's wrong Robert? Talk to me. 

Robert: I don't know, my leg is thumb again. I just don't want you to worry.

A: What do you mean with again? Has this happened before? And Robert I can very much decide if I worry or not. You can't protect me.

R: After I tried to kick the door in L.A. my leg went thumb. I think it's because of my back injury which I got in the aid car crash.

A: You can't go through this alone. I will stay by your side if you want me to, but I must tell you that I don't accept a no.

R: Well, then I don't have another choice.

After that Andy and Robert could have gone to Amelia and not Koracick, because she is Meredith's sister and Andy trusts her.

Like than he would have never used drugs. Amelia would have given him this thing, I don't know what it's called. Pas device?

Andy and Robert are happy and just are them, have a lot of sex and talk if he should take the surgery, even if it's 50/50.

They decide to do it because – yeah, I don't know – they want to stop worrying if it gets worse.

Andy is there for Robert before the surgery, waits for him during the surgery and most important – is there form him after the surgery. She loves and supports him in every way she could think of.

Because nobody knows about them (act like they are just friends), Andy can't stay by his side every day of his therapy and days in the hospital. But she was by his side every free minute and they were just happy.

After two months Robert came back to work, he made Battalion Chief and he wanted to make Andy Captain.

In the night of the storm, he told Andy that, but after the good news, her dad came around and told her that he had cancer and had just 6 months to live left. Andy started to cry and Robert tried to comfort her, the best way he could. The only thing she told Robert was not to make her Captain because she won't be able to do the job after her dad is gone.

At this point they were 8 months together (I know that this kinda doesn't suit in my timeline but still). They started to talk about marriage because Andy wanted her dad to walk her down the aisle.

After 3 months (11 months relationship) they got married. They were on cloud seven but after two weeks the storage unit thing happened.

I know in the original episode, Robert's leg went thumb but here they just couldn't find their way back because the leading line back was covered under pieces of the ceiling.

When the two of them come out of the building and Andy collapses on the floor. Everyone of the team tried to comfort her but she just pushed them away. Then Robert pulled her into a hug and she just broke down. The team got a little bit suspicious, but they thought that they were friends.

Robert brought her home and just was there for her. Then the original storyline but without the fight and without her mother (she is dead, dead).

When Andy came back to work, she felt a little bit lost. She wanted back into Robert's arms, but she knows she couldn't. Because of that, she talks to Robert about telling the team. They decide to tell the team at the spaghetti dinner. They then stand in front of the team and Robert raises his voice.

Robert: I just wanna let you know, that thanks to you, we got the funding for captain Herrera's line of duty funeral.

Andy: And there is one more thing. Robert and I got married.

The team stays silent. They don't know what to say.

A: Just ask the dam questions already!

The team asked a lot of questions and Andy and Robert answered everyone.

After the dinner Robert and Andy headed home and had a beautiful evening. They even had the talk about kids. They decided to probably start with trying in two years.

One year later – Before Marina wedding

Maya made a bad call Robert knew that the chief knew that and everybody else Robert went to the chief and talked to him.

Robert: Captain Bishop made a back call, but she shouldn't be fired or grounded to firefighter. My solution would be to make her Lieutenant Herrera Captain and I don't say that because she is my wife. I say that because she was made for this job. She earned it. You can make Bishop Lieutenant again. I think that would be the best solution.

Chief: I'll take that into consideration. Bye.

Marina wedding

Andy and Robert danced and had a beautiful time. At the end everyone got the message that Maya was Lieutenant again and Andy Captain. Maya was shocked at first, but she knew that she made a bad call and was happy for Andy.

One year later

Andy has been Captain for a year now and Robert just told her that he is going to be Chief (he never got demoted) because the old one died and he wanted to make Andy Battalion Chief.

After they both got their new job, they found out, that Andy was pregnant. They were happy and everything was perfect

I really have to say that this version is better for me. I really don't like too much drama.

Just one note: If they really mess up Surrera, I will stop watching the show.
