taeyong was trying his best to ignore eun's death stare.

ever since their group meeting had begun in the library, the girl would not remove her eyes from him. she rarely spoke, and when she did it was to either confirm or deny something that had been said.

jaehyun, bless his heart, was being oblivious as always. he stole glances at the dark-haired girl in between discussion which their oldest member, kang seulgi led.

an incredibly bored lee minhyuk spun in circles around the conference table, laying back in his spinny office chair.

seulgi shot the boy a glare that would be enough to scare any normal person into submission. minhyuk, being farthest from normal, simply winked at her unabashedly.

the meeting was suddenly interrupted by a singular knock on the door followed by it swinging open to reveal suh johnny.

"oh," he blinked at them, surveying the awkward group, "sorry."

"hey, hyung. we're almost done." jaehyun grinned and johnny nodded.

"i'll be waiting out here with taehyung." he said, before shutting the door. both taeyong and eun turned their heads to peer at the glass door.

sure enough, kim taehyung stood there, leaning against a bookcase as he and johnny conversed. taeyong turned back to face eun, who began to pack her bag in anticipation.

seulgi gave a few more words (mostly threats directed at minhyuk), before letting them go. "let's do a good job," she ended with, throwing her totebag over her shoulder before waving them off.

eun was the first out the room, bolting away with her backpack in hand. taeyong followed after her, determined to explain himself.

"can we talk?" taeyong asked, catching her by the wrist.

she raised an eyebrow, shaking his hand off. "what could you possibly want to talk to me about?"

taeyong looked up to see taehyung, johnny and jaehyun blinking at them in confusion.

"another time then, " the boy sighed, evading their eyes awkwardly.

eun gave him one last look before brushing past him angrily, grabbing taehyung's arm on her way out.
