Kemuri's eyes rolled back. She floated up into the air.
"I'm tired of this." A voice seeped out of her mouth, eerie and echoing.
"I'm starting to hate this." Kemuri's father and step-mother stepped back.
"I'm starting to want to kill this."
"I want this to end." Kemuri smiled eerily. "And I'll start of with you, Kireina." She glided forward. A knife appeared in her hand.
Kemuri began to sing softly.
"They send me away to find them a fortune
A chest filled with diamonds and gold
The house was awake, the shadows and monsters
The hallways, they echoed and groaned," Kireina stepped back."Y-You can't speak!" She gasped.
"I sat alone, in bed till the morning
I'm crying, "They're coming for me"
And I tried to hold these secrets inside me
My mind's like a deadly disease," Kemuri grinned, and the knife left her hand and stabbed itself into Kireina's heart.
Kemuri woke up. Was that all just a dream? She didn't have powers, no. She couldn't speak. What were headphones? Who-who was Kireina? Why did she have a dream inside a dream? Kemuri calmed herself down.
Stop asking questions. She chided. Let's try to stay calm. Very calm. Kemuri thought. She stepped out into the hallways, her footsteps echoing behind her. Kemuri gulped soundlessly. She felt like she was being watched.
Kemuri broke into a jog, glancing around worriedly. "Ah!" Someone yelped right as she slammed into something, and everything went dark.
