Veronica ran out of the school and saw the tall Serpent leaning against his motorcycle having trouble lighting a cigarette, "DAMN IT!" Sweet Pea screamed the wind going crazy at this point.

Fangs scoffed and took the lighter from Sweet Pea, "Hold you hands up." Sweet Pea complied, Fangs lit it for him and threw the lighter on the ground.

"Asshole." Sweet Pea mumbled leaning down and grabbing the lighter, when he looked back up Veronica was standing there he red headed boy friend not to far.

"Why didn't you tell me?" Was the first thing Veronica asked, her eyes starting to swell with tears, "I couldn't- You know me, I'm not- not boy friend material." Sweet Pea said with a fake chuckle.

"BABE!" Archie screamed from behind Veronica, Sweet Pea eyes darted to him than back to Veronica, he scoffed, "That's why." Sweet Pea finished before Archie made it all the way over.

Veronica's eye's dart to the ground, she knew he had a point, Archie and her where big fans of PDA well Archie was.

"Baby, what are you doing out here with these- Serpents." Archie spat in disgust grabbing Veronica waist.

Sweet Pea cringed and looked up huffing out a cloud of smoke. 

Veronica hated this, hated that she couldn't tell him how she felt, hated that she couldn't reach out and comfort him.

"Nothing- Sweet Pea looked upset." Veronica said kissing Archie's cheek, the use of Sweet Pea's real name falling off of her lips hurt something deep inside of him.

Sweet Pea scoffed, "Upset, yea- You could say that." He huffed out the last cloud of smoke and threw the cigarette butt on the ground stomping it harder than his hand to.

Fangs jumped slightly not expecting Sweet Pea's type grasp around his upper arm, "Ready to go?" Sweet Pea asked tilting his head slightly to the side daring Fangs to say 'no'. 

Veronica was uncomfortable, Archie's grip on her waist tightened as he moved her away from the young Serpents who looked to be in their own fight.

Archie's grip tightened so did Sweet Pea.

"I'll fucking end you." Sweet Pea growled at Fangs pulling him closer, "You don't mean that, your angry, hurt, sad." Fangs smiled trying to calm Sweet pea down.

"She loves him." Sweet Pea mumbled his grip loosened his body going limp, he looked broken, "I'm going to go get high my friend, fizzle rocks or JJ?" Sweet Pea asked throwing a leg over his bike.

"Neither?" Fangs tried, Sweet Pea just chuckled, "The gutter drug it is." Sweet Pea yelled over the engine of his bike.

He sped out of the parking lot his helmet laid forgotten on the ground, Fangs was worried, more than worried.

They only tried Jingle Jangle or JJ once together, he didn't think Sweet Pea was addicted, he always had a problem with getting carried away.

Fangs sighed and walked back into the school, they already missed first period, wasn't worth it.

(First period)

Veronica was sitting with Archie in first period, they were holding hands, "You'll unfriend that nasty Serpent you call 'Sweets' or else." Archie warned his voice low.

Veronica gulped the lump in her throat, "Okay, I'll stop talking to him." She said the fakest smile plastered onto her face, the smile everyone believed, everyone but Sweet Pea.

He could always tell, he had something different something Veronica wanted to find out, he had deep rotted issues, everyone knew that.

She knew how far they really went, most of it anyway.

"Okay, don't make me angry Ronnie." Archie said with a fake smile, she just nodded, he leaned over to kiss her, she wanted to pull away but she kissed him back.

'Sweets' was the only name rolling around in her head, her lips against Archie's when she so wanted them to be his, that one guy who made her laugh when the world felt impossible.

The one guy who turned her world, she wanted it to be Sweet Pea's lips, his hands, his body, his tall ass body.

Archie would lose his mind if he found out, found out the way she felt about Sweet Pea, the way she smiled when he walked into a room.

The way Sweet Pea's jaw clenched when Archie touched her, she saw it now, it all made more sense.

Veronica would never get a chance to tell him, tell him that she was falling head over him, it was over, everything was.

Their friendship, the laughs, the late nights in his trailer watching movies, everything was just- over...

She hated it, she wanted so badly to get out of it, get out of this hell. She would stay, stay because she didn't have a choice.

(Fangs trailer)

Fangs got home about 20 minutes ago, he was watching TV after skipping his last 3 classes, he was chilling like usual.

That was before a loud knock was heard threw out the whole trailer, Fangs jumped slightly and looked at the door, the knocked soon turned to pounding.

 "Damn it Fogarty, OPEN THE DAMN DOOR!" Sweet Pea screamed, Fangs let out a short breath he didn't realize he was holding.

He opened the door and Sweet Pea basically fell in.

"Woah!" Sweet Pea screamed barley catching himself, "lay on the couch you idiot." Fangs mumbled, Sweet Pea rolled his eyes and sat down.

"Dude I think- I think I'm high." Sweet Pea said laughing, Fangs chuckles, "You think, your eyes are bloodshot as fuck." He grabbed a water and threw it at Sweet Pea.

He got the water and opened it, he started gulping it down like a crazy person.

Fangs rolled his eyes and leaned against the counter.

Sweet Pea's phone started ringing making him but down the already half empty water bottle, he took out his phone.

"Sweet Pea express where bitches get-", "Shut up." Veronica said through the phone, Sweet Pea chuckled, "What's up Veronica?" He asked, Fangs raised his eyebrows.

"Can you um- come get me?" She asked, Sweet Pea nodded and Fangs rolled his eyes, "She can't see you dumb ass.", "Oh shit, yea I'm on my way." Sweet Pea smirked raising from the couch.

"Thanks Sweets.", "No Problem V." He said hanging up and smirking at Fangs, "Bye buddy." He said tipping his fake hat and leaving the trailer.

Fangs rolled his eyes for what felt like the 100th time today, he locked the door and sat back on the couch and started watching TV.
