Sweet Pea was still sitting on the bathroom floor. He really didn't feel like moving, his stomach hurt. Scratch that, everything hurt, his whole body. Fangs was in front of him, he knew his friend was hurting.

There was a light tap on the door, Fangs opened it, Veronica sat there. She had a small, fake, smile on her face, Fangs let her in, she walked over and sat beside Sweet Pea patting his back as his body jerked.

"This blows." He murmured, Veronica chuckled, "I know, Sweets. You're doing so good though. You're strong as-" She got cut off by her phone ringing, it was Archie, she sighed and declined. 

She looked back up at Sweet Pea's pale face, she gave him a sad smirk, Veronica leaned in and pressed a kiss to his forehead, Sweet Pea pushed away throwing up again.

It was two days later, Sweet Pea was better, everyone was at their own houses or trailers. He was in pain, just mentally now. He hadn't talked to FP, he didn't really want to. The man lied to him for 17 years.

Sweet Pea sighed, it was Monday, meaning he had to hurry up and get ready, he groaned forcing himself out of bed and into the bathroom so that he could shower.

(Veronica's house)

She had to end it with Sweet Pea, Archie was forcing her, they could end Sweet Pea's life, not like that. They could get him locked up for life, it was simple, to pin something on a Serpent. Veronica knew that, that's why she was going to end it with Sweets.

Veronica wiped her tears and started to layer her makeup over the fresh black eye, Archie wasn't nice about her face this time.

She grabbed an outfit, got dressed, fixed her hair, and walked outside. Archie was out front with his pick-up. 

"Hey, babe." He smiled, she gave him a fake smile wrapping her arms around his neck and pecking his lips, "Don't ruin this." Archie warned, whispering in her ear. 

Veronica pulled back with a fake smile and nodded, Archie gave her a real smile, "Let's get going!" He said climbing back into the truck. Veronica went to the other side pushing everything down, she climbed into the truck beside Archie.

 Archie sighed, he grasped her knee, "Remember, end it with that Serpent, all the way. If you don't we'll make sure to get rid of him, our way." Archie warned her, knowing she would do anything for the snake.

She nodded, even though she didn't want to leave Sweets, she knew it would be better for him, "Also, don't you dare tell him the real reason, tell him it's just not working out, okay?" Archie glared at her, Veronica nodded.

He nodded back and started the truck, removing his hand from her knee, he made his way to the school, ready to get the snake away from Veronica.

Sweet Pea climbed off his motorcycle, he lit a cigarette, waiting for Veronica, she said she needed to tell him something.

For some reason he was excited, he loved talking to her, finally, he could say she was his. After all this time, keeping his feelings locked away.
