Jean Kirschtein was your best friend. Most of the time you two were together, be it during mission or leisure time.
Also at that time Erwin and you were secretly dating.
You spent time with Erwin when you weren't with Jean. Means, you didn't get to spend much time with him as Erwin was Commander and you were in the Levi squad with Jean most of the time.
Now, your friendship with Jean didn't bother Erwin that much.
Until..
“Ahahahaha, where did you hear that from?” You were laughing at something Jean said.
Whenever you and Jean were together, you always had a good time. Laughing at his jokes and making fun of Connie and Sasha.
The Levi squad was taking a break. So you and Jean were hanging out as usual.
You didn't notice Erwin was also there. A bit distant from you guys but he could hear what you two were talking about.
Of course Erwin wasn't eavesdropping or anything. He just happened to be there at the same time while you two were there.
You and Erwin don't talk much as you are always on separate missions. Even on same missions, you and Erwin didn't make contact much as you were still keeping things secret and didn't want anyone to be suspicious of you both.
So seeing you laughing and talking with Jean made him feel a bit..
Jealous
You don't laugh this much when you're with Erwin.
You don't talk so much with Erwin as you do with Jean.
It's as if he saw you differently with Jean.
You didn't notice he was looking at you until suddenly while talking with Jean you made eye contact on the direction he was standing.
The moment you made eye contact with him, he looked away quickly.
His face had a serious and strong expression.
Woah.
Was he angry that you were out here with Jean? But it's break time.
You thought to yourself.
The Survey Corps called it a day.
After a while everyone went to bed. Only Erwin, Hange and Levi were awake. But all in separate rooms.
You snuck out from the room you shared with Mikasa and Sasha.
You wanted to see Erwin. You hadn't had a chance to talk to him at all today. And you felt like he was ignoring you. On purpose.
You slowly walked through the hallway and had to stop a lot of times to check if anyone say you.
Finally you reached Erwin's room and knocked on the door.
When he opened the door and saw you, he gave you a soft smile and let you in.
“What have you been doing?,” you say looking around his room and went to his desk.
“Just checking some paperworks.”
Erwin to you, seemed a bit off and more quiet than usual.
He ignored you all day long today and he usually doesn't do this.
“Erwin, can I talk to you about something?”
“Yes,” he said while checking the papers in his hands
“Why were you ignoring me today?,” you said hugging him from behind.
He was very tall and much taller than you so you hugged him from his waist length.
“When?," he smiled, turning his head looking at you.
“All day long,” you replied. “Did I do something?”
He turned around and gave you a peck on the cheek.
“I wasn't ignoring you. I was just busy.”
“Oh yeah?”
“Yeah.”
“And besides,” he started.
“You were busy having fun with Jean too.”
OHH is that what it's all about?
You grinned at him while throwing your hands around his neck.
“Erwin,”
“Hm,” he said slipping his hands around your waist.
“Are you jealous?,” you smirked at him.
“What? No,” he said with a smile.
You could tell that he was definitely jealous and now embarrassed because he's face was slowly turning red.
You gave a chuckle seeing him get all embarrassed to admit that he was a little jealous.
“You know Jean is just my friend right?,” you said.
“I'm ALL yours.”
“Hmm is that so?,” he asked, smiling.
Before you could answer that, he pulled you in for a kiss.
