A Grimm Secret

Prologue

Have you ever read the famous fairytales written by the Grimm Brothers? The tales were from a long time ago, traced back to a few centuries. And each one of them were true stories written by my ancestors. They were known as The Grimm Brothers, and they made a deal with rulers of a different world.

The Fae were from a different world that had creatures that run amok our world. Some Fae wanted and tried to destroy the peace of the two worlds. Then this was when my Grandfathers stepped in. They made a deal with the Rulers (The Ruler Three) at that time to close the gates connecting to our worlds. The deal was to complete a set of challenging tasks and if they fail and die, their off spring would continue it on. The Fae loved stories and thus created the Fairytales, and even named after themselves. They also told the truth which made it harder for the brothers to find loopholes in the contract. They shook on it and the Grimm brothers started writing about their adventures in their journal.

After that brief history lesson, I'll tell you about what happened next. Once the brothers died the tasks were passed on, and a loophole was found. The tasks would start over and restart, and the Fae would also be allowed to interfere with the stories. The Grimm brothers almost finished them all, but one, The Unknown Story. Some other Fae thought this was wrong and a Spirit made a book called the Grimoire which would guide the Grimms to complete the stories and captured it inside. This book was enchanted by the last Grimm Brother before he died. It was that the book would only show itself to those who have proven their worth to it.

I am Rowan Yule and I am going to complete what my ancestors started.
