I hope you will like the chapter! Read the quote, it practically describes Rowan. The past is hard, but you can always start again.

No matter how hard I try, the worst always follows me. I mean why not Trisha Lit or Sue Rayne, they deserve it not me. I'm Rowan Yule, nice to meet you person-reading-my-life. I was in a difficult situation, my mom won't sign my field trip form, a field trip that is worth half my grade, and my little sister, Lina, spilled juice on my last pair of jeans, white ones.

"Are you sure you can't take extra credit or something? You don't have to go, you'll be perfectly safe here at home." The overprotective mother, everyone. Yay! My mom hates it when I go somewhere 'unsafe'. I was going to a museum for pete's sake. A museum, a boring one at that.

I looked at my sister for some help, she looked at me back straight in the eye and mouthed, your battle not mine. See how helpful she is. Lina started running up the stair saying she forgot something. Traitor.

"I have everything under control, mom. I'm perfectly safe all we're gonna do is look at naked statues of some gods and stuff." I exclaimed, tiredly. Mom looked at me with a annoyed expression. "Fine if anything wrong happens don't come crying to me about it." She left the room angrily. She gave me one last look and walked into the kitchen.

"Wait! You forgot to sign the form!" I yelled after her.

Looking back, I now I wish I took the warning.
