"Ms. Lane, I'm here!" I yelled tiredly. My favorite teacher turned around and I saw her sigh. "Rowan you do know I said to be here specifically at 8:00. I can't let you in the bus." She said disappointed in me. And at this moment I did the impossible. "I'll do extra credit!" I shouted at her. Ms. Lane stopped mid-walk. I have never gotten good grades all teachers knew that, and I've never done any homework or extra credit projects without paying Lina to do it. For an 11 year old she is pretty smart.
Ms. Lane weighed her options and said, "What are you waiting for, Rowan. Come in we might be late."
I hopped inside trying to act invisible. Turns out that it's very hard. Everyone started whispering as soon as I set my foot on the bus. I ran to Caroline trying to avoid people's stuck out feet. I sat down next to her.
Caroline Prim, the best friend you can ever have. I've met her a two years ago and turns out we were two sides to the same coin. Caroline has natural white blond hair and bright blue eyes. Smart, cellphone obsessed, and is a fashionista freak. I literally mean a freak. One stain would make her go loco! Even a small tiny rip.
"Ro, you do know that if you get a phone you can get up earlier." Did I forget to mention that she is cellphone obsessed? Wait, I already mentioned it. Caroline loves her phone more than anything else. More than her clothes. She has been bugging me for the last two years to buy a phone, but that's not happening. One Word: Mom
"Carebear you do know who my mom is, right?" She glared at me when I called her carebear.
"A girl can dream. A girl can dream, Ro." I laughed at her pouting face. I quickly changed the subject. "So any news I should know about?" I regret saying them.
"Okay, did you hear that Trisha and Brodie broke up? In the school parking lot this morning they were arguing about how clingy Trisha is and Trisha was like, 'Baby, I'm so perfect you totally love me!' And Brodie was like 'You get jealous over every single girl! And blah blah blah stuff like that" Caroline said. As she were imitating the voices I couldn't help, but laugh.
"Ro, are you listening? After that Harry's prank hit Sue. She apparently was standing on the X in the parking lot. Look at her, look!" She pointed at the victim. Sue was covered in the Puke green slime. Her hair was sticking up everywhere and to make matters worse (for her, but this is great for me) she was wearing her favorite hot pink mini skirt and white tank top.
Sue is my Arch Nemesis . She always sticks her nose in my business and is always trying to one up me. The teachers thinks she's an angel, but Ms. Lane. That's why she's my favorite teacher.
Sue is a very, very good actor. To me she is an evil, vile egotistical, arrogant, girl and to everyone else she is an innocent, sweet, kind, angel.
Then Caroline interrupted my thoughts as she squealed, almost ruining my hearing. "Oh My God! Look it's Harry Wing." Harry Wing is a 'prankster in training' and my crush. Caroline just loves to point him out to me everytime she sees him. As the bus slows down, Caroline tells me something very horrific.
"I forgot to tell you! The halloween ball is next week!" The bus stopped.
