Nightmare groaned, in anger and annoyance. He was feeling too many negative emotions.. He opened his drawer and pulled out a knife. He rolled up his sleeves and started to make cuts on his arms. Meanwhile, Chara lay awake in her room, looking at the ceiling, in tears. She wiped her tears away and walked out of her room. She started to walk, finding herself in front of Nightmare's door. She slowly opened it, finding Nightmare cutting himself. Nightmare looked up with surprise ment and stared at Chara with a 'oh god I'm screwed' expression. "Nightmare...?" Chara choked out closing the door behind her, then walking up to him. "Hey Chara... What are you doing up his late?" He asked. "R-Right now this isn't about me. T-this is about y-you." Chara bluntly said. Nightmare sighed. "Get Killer, he knows how to handle this." Nightmare said. Chara sighed and stood, walking to the door and opening it. Chara looked behind her, and Nightmare looked at her. Seeing Chara's tear filled eyes made Night's heart break. She gave a sad smile, a tear falling. "I k-knew you and me h-had something in common.." Chara said, her voice as soft as can be. Nightmare's eyes widened. "Chara... What do you mean by that..?" He asked. She smiled more, as tears fell. "You'll figure it out sooner or later. All of you will." She said, then walked off to find Killers room. She knocked on a red door, guessing it was Killers room. The door open and here came a sleepy Killer. He yawned. "Mn... What'cha need kid?" Killer asked, a sleepy smile on his face. She grabbed his hand and walked. "Whoa- okay this is happening-" Killer said, walking beside Chara. Chara walked into Nightmare's room and pointed to him, too hurt inside and sad to speak. Killer's smile faded. He walked over to Nightmare, letting go of Chara's hand. He grabbed a med-kit from one of the drawers and started wrapping Nightmare's left arm with bandages. Chara felt bad for Killer, so she said, "Killer, g-go to sleep, I-I'll take c-care of it." "No Chara, YOU go to sleep, you need your rest" Nightmare said. "Go to your room. Now." Chara shook her head. "I w-won't leave." She said, trying to be strong. "Chara, it's best to do what he says." Killer said, still wrapping Nightmare's arm. "N-No! I w-wanna help..!" Chara said. Nightmare then lost his cool. "CHARA, JUST GO TO YOUR ROOM, OKAY?!" Nightmare shouted. Chara jolted. She'd never seen Nightmare so angry. "Boss, calm down." Killer said. "You scared her." Nightmare's eyes widened slightly once he realized what he done. Nightmare scoffed. "I always scare people." He murmured. Chara recollected herself. "K-Killer, please go to y-your room... Your clearly t-tired." Chara said again. "I-I'll take care of Nighty." Nightmare and Killer looked to Chara in shock. Killer's face relaxed, a smile spreading on his face. "Thank you, Chara." Killer said. He stood up and ruffled her hair, then walked out of the room. Chara closed the door and walked over to Nightmare, taking the bandages and wrapping them around Nightmare's arm gently. "...Why?" Nightmare choked out. "Why do you help me, after I just yelled at you...?" Chara smiled after she finished wrapping his arm. She started on his other arm and said, "I've h-had way worse then just y-yelling." Chara said. Nightmare was quiet. After she finished wrapping up his arm, she put the bandages back in the med-kit and put it in the drawer, shutting it. "T-There you go!" Chara said. Nightmare looked at chara, a tear starting to form. "C'mere." He said, opening his arms wide so he could hug Chara. Chara wrapped her arms around Nightmare, and lay her head on his chest. Nightmare put one hand on her back, the other caressing her hair. "I'm sorry I yelled. You were just trying to help me." Nightmare softly spoke. "It's o-okay. I'm kinda u-used to i-it." Chara said, hugging Nightmare a bit more tighter, to try and comfort him. You shouldn't be used to it... Nightmare thought, resting his chin on her head. "Can you sleep here tonight..? I owe you a lot of hugs and apologies.." Nightmare said. "You don't o-owe me a-anything, b-but I'll still sleep h-here if you w-want!" Chara said. "Right now, I think we both need that more than anything." Nightmare said, teleporting the two into his bed. Chara was laying her head on his chest still, and hugging him. Nightmare was still resting his chin on her head, still caressing her. Chara snuggled up closer to him, and Night just let her. The two both fell asleep, not letting go of each other.
