TIMEFRAME: Post-Avengers
I stomped down the corridor and hearing Natasha calling out for me as I kept ignoring her. I ignored everyone in my path, "Alexandra!" I hear her shout but I kept walking feeling my palms warm up.
I waved my hand slamming the door opening scaring Steve and Bruce who were talking. "Nat, what's wrong?" I heard Steve ask Natasha as she spoke to him but she shook her head and went after me herself. "Oh, hey witchy girl." Tony said waving his hand as I ignored him and continued to walk towards my room.
"What's up with witch lady?" I hear Tony ask Nat making me slam open another pair of doors. I continued to walk down the long hallway and finally found my room. I slammed my door closed as I walked in, I looked around breathing heavily, "I can't do this." I said panting feeling as if my lungs were going to disappear.
"Alex, calm down." I see Natasha walk in my room slowly spotting the floating in the air. "HOW DO YOU WANT ME TO BE CALM NAT?!" I shouted and sobbed making her get quiet. "I JUST GOT MY MEMORIES BACK AND YOU EXPECT ME TO BE CALM?!" I shouted gripping onto my head and pulling on my hair.
"I CAN'T DO THIS, THEY KILLED MY PARENTS." I shouted angrily as I gripped onto my hair harder. "Alex, I know but please calm down, sweetheart please." She said stepping closer to me.
"Nat....they killed my p-parents..." I cried as I fell to the ground sobbing loudly making her halt. "They took my dignity, my morals, my FUCKING LIFE FROM ME." I shouted looking at her as tears fell down my cheeks.
I heard the door open, "Steve, no.." I looked up to see Steve looking down at me, "Alex...." He said as I hiccuped. "Steve....they killed my p-parents and I couldn't do anything but watch." I said shaking my head as they stepped closer to me.
"Please, let us help." Steve begged making me whimper and I looked up at them, "I'm scared..." I said looking up at them as more tears fell. "Alex, you can't do this to yourself." He said as Natasha got to her knees in front of me.
"Honey, it's gonna hurt, but you can't do this to yourself." She said making my heart clench, "They died because of what I am." I whimpered out as she shook her head at me.
"Tak bol'no." I sobbed out making her nod as I looked down shaking my head as I finally let it out, letting out a heart wrenching cry. It hurts so much.
Making Steve and Natasha's hearts stop at the woman in front of them break down due to her traumatizing past. This woman who was raised to not feel, being ordered to kill, to be broken down.
The two avengers wrapped their arms around the broken assassin. They kept the broken woman in their arms until her cries turned into hoarse crying. Natasha shed a few as for Steve, he cried along with the woman whose life was taken from her too young.
"They took everything from me." I said lowly as Natasha shook her head pulling away from me. "You have us, Alex." She said smiling as she looked at Steve and he nodded smiling at the woman only knowing her for a couple of months. "We're never going to leave you." He said making me smile at them.
"Thank you guys." I said hugging them as they hugged me back, "I hope this isn't awkward for you two." I muttered making them laugh and I joined them. "Oh god, I know you're gonna be a handful." Steve said shaking his head pulling away from me.
"Well, duh." I said shrugging at them as I wiped my tears away and they got up from the floor. "Sorry to ruin this little party but we have a mission to go to." Tony said peeking in making me roll my eyes.
"Always know how to ruin things, Stark." I said as we walked out of my room and towards a quinjet. He laughs wholeheartedly looking at me, "Aw, I feel the love." He said walking away as I put on my suit and I rolled my eyes.
