We Aren't Angels

Liams pov.

Liam's POV

I slam the door beind me as I storm into the large apartment.

"Where've you been?"

I see Louis sitting on a stool at the island in the kitchen drinking a glass of his favorite. O-Negative.

His amused grin turns into worry when he see's my swollen purple eye.

"What the hell happened to you?" He abandons his drink and rushes over to my side.

"It's nothing. Just get me some blood so i can heal."

I throw myself down on the couch and exhale loudly.

Louis' in the kitchen getting a bag of blood from the fridge and microwaving it for me.

Niall walks by and sees my face.

"Rough night?" he asks as he walks over and sits down next to me.

"You could say that," I snarl back at him.

Louis is back at my side and puts the blood in my hand.

I chug it down quickly, hearing Niall slightly gag at the sight. He's never quite gotten used to the whole drinking blood.

"Who did this too you?" Niall asks as I set the glass down on the table.

"Just some guys," I shrug.

"Who?" Louis asks seriously.

"If i knew exactly who they were, I'd tell you. But I don't so I can't. In truth, the only thing i do remember is the girl's face when she punched me."

The last part just sort of trickled out. I don't need them making fun of me for it.

But it's true. I've memorized every feature on that girls face and I can't seem to forget about it no matter how hard I try.

Louis erupts into a fit of laughter and Niall chuckles slightly, before biting his lip to contain himself.

"You got your ass beat by a girl?!" Louis clutches his gut as he rolls backwards onto his back.

"HEY JACKASS! For your information, I was saving her life. When I turn around, I see her kicking two other vampire's asses. Then when I think she's coming over to thank me, she punches me in the face!" I try to defend myself.

Louis sits up, "So she was a Vampire Hunter?"

I nod although I'm not even sure if she is or not.

Niall shakes his head. "And she didn't kill you. At least she's honorable... sort of."

"She was really skilled though. The way she fought was so amazing to watch." I slightly smile thinking back to it for some reason.

Niall sighs and gets up. "Looks like someone has a crush on a human girl. Master Ray won't like that." He walks into the kitchen and sticks his whole head into the fridge.

"I don't have a crush on her. She just caught my attention is all."

Louis rolls his eyes. "Well, a girl in my class caught my attention today," he mocks me.

"Oh so she's as dumb as you?" I joke ruffling up his soft hair.

Louis gets a grumpy look on his face as he fixes his hair with his hands and says, "No! She's actually really smart. She's just in summer school because of how many days she missed. I met her this morning after crashing our bikes together on our way to school."

Niall pops his head out of the fridge and shouts, "What's her name? Is she pretty? What does she look like?" Niall has always been an inquizzative one.

"Her name is Mia Eggers.And she's absolutely gorgeous not pretty! She's tall with really long blond hair." Louis smiles dopely as he talks about her.

I mutter, "Funny, the girl I ran into had long blonde hair too."

Niall runs back into the living room with armfulls of food and shouts, "What if it the same girl!?!?"

I laugh at first but then think about it. It's quite possible. I ran into shortly after class ended.

Louis looks at me and asks, "Was she wearing our school uniform?"

Now that i think about it, she was.

I nod slightly.

"Did she have a bike with her?"

"Ya."

We all just sit there in silence as it slowly sinks in.

The girl Louis and I like is a vampire hunter that beat me up.

All of a sudden a loud burst of laughter makes us jump. We turn around and see Ray leaning against the doorway.

"You guys are screwed."

He continues laughing hysterically as he walks out of sight.

"Good night" Louis and I say in unison and both hurry off to our bedrooms.
