AN: Hi everyone! Thank you to anyone who's given this fic a try because I know the length is a bit crazy. There are a few trigger warnings for this chapter and they are:
TW: Mentions of weight (because Akira is plus sized) and claustrophobia.
Those are the only things mentioned. I hope you all enjoy this chapter!

A few days passed at UA where Akira was simply getting used to the classes and her classmates. She was starting to remember a few people by their first names and even had them in her phone now. Momo, Kyoka, Ochaco, Denki and Tenya (who nervously offered his when she and Ochaco exchanged numbers). She never expected to be making friends so fast and luckily Izuku was having a similar experience.
It was strange for the twins. Going from having very few friends their entire lives to suddenly having several was a nice change. However, Akira wondered if Izuku also worried about the entire class turning on them one day. She knew it was unlikely but they had been through too much to just completely trust people right away.
While she was slowly building trust with her new classmates, she was also rebuilding it with Katsuki who she now consistently spoke to given their close proximity.
It was only a couple of days ago that she thought his desk being in front of hers would be a nightmare but now she actually enjoyed it. She got to talk to him a lot more and he didn't seem to object to conversation unless she started teasing him which could happen easily. He had apparently started wearing cologne in the time they had spent apart. It was a warm smell, one that reminded her of burnt wood and amber. She was sure some would say it was too strong but it could only really be smelled if you were within arm's reach.
They had also started walking to the station together ever so often. Sometimes, he went on without her but she tried not to dwell on it too much. He had never been the kind to linger after school and she often did stick around to speak with new friends.
This morning, she and Izuku had been slightly late catching the train which most likely meant they weren't going to bump into Katsuki on the way. She shouldn't have been disappointed by this fact but she was. It was fun to annoy him on the train ride over.
"The hell is going on?" Akira asked when they approached the front gate to see it swarming with all kinds of people with cameras and microphones.
"Did we miss something? Is it a holiday?" Izuku asked while they both slowed down to try to work out how to get through the crowd.
"I don't think so," Akira replied, her nose scrunched up with confusion.
It was then she remembered Denki had said that reporters had been outside the school the last two days. She and Izuku hadn't come across them but that was most likely because they either arrived too early or almost too late.
"Could there have been an accident?" Izuku fretted.
"Nah, cops would be here or ambulances. They must just be here to get some kind of story about All Might," she shrugged.
She wasn't really interested in speaking with them. Not when they were most likely just here to write some kind of piece about All Might's experience as a teacher.
"They wouldn't want to speak with us then, right?" Izuku asked and she shook her head.
"They are here for a story and they'll bother anyone to get it so we need to avoid them if possible," she placed a hand on her chin, trying to think of the best way around them.
"Couldn't we use your force disks and go right over them?" Izuku beamed.
Akira had considered that idea but she knew it might be a bit risky with so many photographers around.
