ANThis chapter was so much fun to write because I really got to show Akira in action. Hopefully it's fun!

Akira had trouble sleeping that night. Of course, her mind kept bouncing between the exam and Katsuki. She didn't want to be thinking of the boy at all but she knew seeing him tomorrow would be unavoidable. Whenever she thought about how disappointed she was, she forced herself to think of the exam which made her feel ill. Taking tests had always made her anxious but normally never this much.

She wasn't sure when her mind finally shut off but before she knew what was happening, Inko stepped into room and flipped the lights on.

"It's the big day, sweetie!" She cheered.

Akira jolted awake, her heart racing as she looked at the clock by her bed.

7:00 AM. The exams began around 9:00 and she needed to prepare.

Izuku had warned her last night that he would meet her at the train station. He still had some trash to clear from the beach before he could receive All Might's power. Akira wanted to go, just to make sure her brother's body wasn't going to split apart but he had insisted she get her rest. Perhaps he knew she was going to have trouble sleeping. Even now she felt as if she hadn't slept at all.

She tried to remind herself to breath as she got ready. Making sure to bring gym clothes for the practical portion of the exam. Her curly green hair was too long and messy to keep down on a day like today which is why she pulled it up into a ponytail. Her phone buzzed and Akira glanced at it while putting her shoes on.

'Good luck! You and Izuku do your best!' -Sayori

She smiled, thankful that there was one more person rooting for them other than their mom.

"I feel like throwing up," Akira mumbled as she sat at the kitchen table.

"That's just your nerves, dear. You still need to eat something or you'll feel even worse later," Inko warned as she placed some steamed rice in front of her along with an egg.

Akira's stomach was in knots but she knew her mother was right which is why she forced herself to eat as much as she could.

"I just know you're going to do amazing, Akira. With how hard you and your brother have been working, you two have a serious chance of getting in," Inko said while grabbing Akira's backpack. "And don't forget. Even if it doesn't work out here. There are other schools we can apply for," she added as Akira got to front door.

That should have reassured of Akira. Should have made her feel better in case this didn't work out but she didn't even want to imagine the possibility. She and Izuku had imagined this for so long and she didn't want to think about it slipping away from them.

Still, she knew Inko was only trying to make her feel better which is why she smiled while her mother handed over her backpack, "Thank you, mom." She reached out and gave her a hug, taking a deep breath and reminding herself that things would be alright.

"Good luck, sweetie. I know you'll do your best," Inko whispered before letting Akira go. "Give Izuku a hug for me, won't you?" She added as Akira stepped out of the door.

"I will," she promised, "We'll be back soon!"

She turned to go and Inko wished her good luck again before shutting the door.

That was it. This was really happening now.

Akira listened to music on her way to UA. Trying to focus on it as she went over her notes for the written exam. Her stomach was still doing summersaults as she rode the train but thankfully she hadn't thought about Katsuki since she woke up. Her mind could only focus on her notes and her nerves.
