The weekend arrived in no time. But the work got even busier. From meetings, seminars, interviews to hire a secretary, hosting for clients, regular paperwork and analyzing potential partners, I was utterly spent. Not the mention the gala I had yet to attend.

So I decided to take the afternoon off so I can just relax. All I had to do was sign off some papers and conduct final set of interviews. I just hope I can find a suitable secretary with enough skill set.

Work was expanding. So a secretary can definitely ease the work load. If she took up on some compiling and organizing from Miss Blake, The task would be more immaculate. Not to mention my P.A would have more time and I can delegate my work to her. All the tasks would be done by specialists and would increase efficiency altogether.

Now the only problem is this bimbo sitting in front of me who thinks batting her eyes and suggestive smirks would get her this job.

"So miss which newspapers and magazines do you prefer to read." I asked looking down at her resume. She had doubtfully good recommendations. No wonder how she managed that.

Her reply was just what I was expecting. Gossip magazines and all the wrong papers. I suppressed the urge to roll my eyes and glanced up to her. She send me her yet another smirk that had me cringing inward.

"Its so hot in here, sir. Isn't your air conditioning working. Mind if I open up a window." She stood up and stared into my eyes as if challenging me to look away. Then she proceeded towards the window swaying her hips. And I looked back ahead. If I had my way, I'll throw her right out of that window.

She came back to her seat in front of me, looking me up and down trying to figure me out. The little frown on her face replacing a knowing look proceeded to unbutton another botton. I knew what she was trying to do. I kept my cool, my eyes never wavering from hers. Disgusting.

She stood up again and leaned down on table so she can give me a good look of her chest. Resorting to go further when she didn't get a reaction out of me.

"Sir you and I both know that this tension between us-"

"Out."

"What?!" She spluttered.

"Out. Now."

"But my interview." Her voice rising.

"We both know it was anything but an interview. I expected professionalism from you which you clearly lacked. Now if you can leave." I said calmly wanting nothing more than get her shenanigans to be over with.

"You can't do that." She yelled.

"Yeah? I can do much more. Door is that way. Or shall I call security." I said flinging her file towards her.

She huffed and grabbed her file. She turned on her heals buttoning her shirt. I sighed loudly as she left. Thank god!

Why can't there be more male competitors so I won't have to deal with this shit. As if I see any other than my Jenny. Umm... yeah and Laura too.

The events that led Laura and me together played like a reel in my mind. That face haunted me for days. It still does. How I wish thinks could be different.

I shook my head and dialed intercom to ask Miss Blake to send in next applicant.

Next interviewee lacked professionalism too. But at least she wasn't trying to seduce me. She was just insolent. Only two left now.

Next came in a girl older than me. Her persona excluded pure professionalism amd she's dressed decently. I sighed in relief as I knew I won't face any misconduct. I ran my questions which she answered confidently. Good enough.
