Our Prophet peace be upon him suffered so much attack
People mocked him, hurt him, even tried to kill
However he remained patient, and with sublime morals
Patiently continued his work with the strongest will
Mecca was his place of birth
But persecution had made him leave
People mocked and hurt him so much
And anyone else who would believe
When he returned to Mecca did he take revenge?
No! Unity amongst people he wanted to save
To keep the peace in the society
He taught us a lesson: he forgave
Islam is a religion of peace, moderation
It forbids extremism, instead promoting the middle way
Be moderate and promote peace like our Prophet
Don’t fall into ignorance, please don’t stray
Things work when together, not when apart
Hatred is separation, so love needs to increase
With tolerance and respect, join together
And remember the meaning of Islam is peace.
