Chapter 5

Y/n's diary

"It's been 3 months since I met Mikasa, she's the best thing that's ever come into my life. She doesn't know it, but she's saved me in every way possible. We've been together for 2 months now. Whenever I'm around her I feel a spark. Whenever we talk I feel a spark. Whenever we touch I feel a spark. She makes me a happier and better person and I love her for that."

It was the day of the football team's big game. They had got to the finals and now they were playing against a team that never normally gets beaten.

"So captain, how're you and y/n?" Ymir asked Mikasa as she put her shin guards on.

"We're good" Mikasa replied, also putting her shin guards on. "How are you and Historia?"

"We've almost been together for a year" Ymir said, standing up from the benches.

The pair talked for a few more minutes until they heard their coach, Hange, call for them to get in a circle.

"Okay girls. You've made it to the finals and that's brilliant. Amazing actually. But I just want you all to know, even if we win this match or not, if you try your best then that's all that matters to me. I'm so proud of you all for coming this far in the league. It would be amazing if we won, but that all comes down to your teamwork. If you all work together than you'll play great." Hange said before turning to Mikasa, "have anything to add captain?"

"Well you've pretty much covered everything I was gonna say but still, this match all comes down to teamwork. The other team are much bigger and strong than a few of us but that is okay because no matter if we win or lose, as long as we all put it an equal amount of effort, surely we'll do great. So we are going to smash them today, play our best and have fun while we're at it." Mikasa said looking around at everyone on the team. Ymir proudly looked at her best friend.

The two teams had already warmed up. They all ran out to their positions. You and your friends were at the bleachers. You rested your head on Jean's shoulder while Sasha laid on your legs.

"There's your girl" Historia nudged you with her elbow winking. She was looking at Mikasa. 'God she looks so hot' you thought to yourself.

The game had began. The other team were amazing players. Their skills were excellent but one thing they need to work on was not wasting all their energy so fast.

Just before the halftime whistle went off, Mikasa got hit full force in the nose with a ball. Mikasa was used to getting hit in the face, but it must've been a hard ball since the fell on the ground.

Hange called you over, they knew you had dealt with this before. You ran down the steps and onto the pitch. At this stage the halftime whistle had gone and everyone was getting a drink.

"Her nose was bleeding badly and she has fainted" Hange said while they speed walked beside you.

You bent down to take a look at her nose. It had stopped bleeding. You dabbed a wet tissue against the extra blood. As you were doing that she woke up.

"What happened?" She asked, as she lifted herself up.

"You fainted and had a nose bleed" you replied, still dabbing the blood away.

"Do you feel okay enough to keep playing?" Hange came over.

"I feel fine so yes" she jumped up. She had gotten a random burst of energy.

"Okay but mikasa be careful with your no-" you were cut off with a quick kiss.

"I'm always careful" she winked and ran off.

The game had begun again. You were back down sitting with Sasha, Historia, Eren, Jean and Connie.

"Your girlfriend is hot y/n" Sasha elbowed you.

"Shut up Sasha your boyfriend is right beside you" you laughed and Connie put his hand on his heart and acted offended.

The game went by, both teams had gotten a good amount of goals each. The final scores were so close almost a tie.

"And the winner of this years finals are... Shiganshina!!" Cheers could be heard from all over the stadium. The team ran in for a group hug.

The man spoke again. "Tonight there will be a party where everyone is welcome. The rewards will be given there. Formal clothes to be worn. Congratulations to both teams! Have a great day everyone" he said before the microphone turned off.

Ymir ran up and hugged her girlfriend. You saw Mikasa with a tissue in her hand, wiping off blood stains, talking to Hange. You walked down to them.

"Well done Mikasa" you hugged your girlfriend. You then pulled away from the hug and high fived Hange.

"Shit, there's so many stains. Was the nose bleed that bad?" Mikasa asked you and Hange.

"Well... yeah" you laughed along with Hange.

"I'm gonna get going I've a few things to sort, I'll see you guys later!" Hange said happily before skipping away.

Mikasa put her arm around you. "They seem happy" Mikasa chuckled, referring to Hange.

"They do indeed." The two of you walked to the changing rooms.

"I'll see you later Mikasa" you said waving to her.

"Bye y/n" Mikasa blew a fake kiss and you both laughed before going your separate ways.

Mikasa had asked you to go to the party with her. Since it was formal, you knew exactly what to wear. People have told you that red is your colour.

"Hey sash."

"Hi y/n. You're going to that party right?" Sasha asked. You hummed in response.
"Well can you help me pick something to wear? I can't find anything and I want to look nice for Connie" she whined.

"Okay..." you said as you looked through her wardrobe. "I think this green dress is nice... it goes well with your eyes" you looked, pulling the dress of the hanger.

Sasha grabbed it excitedly out of your hand. "thanks babe" she tried it on. It looked perfect.

"Wow Sasha you look beautiful. Connie will definitely love that" you said admiring her slim body in the dark green dress.

"Okay enough about me... what are you wearing?" Sasha asked.

"This red dress" you pulled it out of the closet. It was tight and had a knee slit. You tried it on and it fit perfectly.

"You're hot" Sasha told you.

"So are you babe" you replied.

"Yo Ymir, does this look okay?" Mikasa asked her roommate. She was wearing a suit.

"Shit you look hot dude" Ymir told her. "Y/n's going to love it" she winked at Mikasa.

Mikasa and Ymir got into Mikasa's car. They picked up Historia along the way.

You and Sasha got into Sasha's car, picking up Connie along the way.

The drive was 20 minutes. Since Mikasa, Ymir and Historia had left earlier than yous, they got there first.
