(2) Overblot Jamil x reader {worthy of your love}

A/N: Sorry, my life has been shit!! I'm working on the other requests, I'll post them as soon as I can. This marvellous one-shot was requested by _4NDY_ thank you so much!!I really enjoyed writing this!!

No one's POV:

In ancient times, the south of Europe was an incredible empire. Artists and inventors floded Italy, musicians and explorers Spain, Turkey was once a part of one of the greaters empires of all times, but Greece was known for his history of philosophers, his temples, architecture and mithology, his innovative form of government, his tragedies, conedies and plays, his art, sculpture and music, his poems. All the Mediterranean Sea was flooded with culture, science and new and powerful civilisations that would form empires. That includes, of course, Africa and Asia. This was a mix of cultures, entering to it's cities was an incredible experience. Colors everywhere, the sight mixed with the smells and taste. The crowd of happy people in the bazar while his fierce warriors were ready to defend his land at any moment.

Not always this two kingdoms were in peace but we can thank god that now they are. King Thalassos made a peace treat beween the two lands making both live in equilibrium with each other. Still nowdays, his descendency has to follow that tradition.

The Thalassos family, of Greece will met with the Al-Asim family to discuss the terms of the new pace treat. Modestly, king Thalassos Arrived with his family and scort in the palace.

The Al-Asim family recieved their visit happily, as well as the whole country.

Princess Y/N of Greece, wisited this country long ago but she had grow since then. They said she grew with the beauty and the grace of the gods. As a princess, modals and knowledge weren't unknown for her either. But what most stood up of her, was her heart, kind yo everyone and prepared to help who was in need. She saw far of the money, gold and jewels, that was unimportant to her, because what really was valuable to her was the heart of a person.

"We announce the entrance of the Thalassos family, rulers of Grece" A guard announced, the king and queen slowly maked their way in always following procedure. Soon enough they maked to where the Al-Asim family where waiting. "Your majesties I'm honored that you accepted our invitation" Kalim's father said and bowed. "Please no need of formalities. I'm honored of reciving your invitation." your father said. "If I'm not in the wrong your daughter is not here, do you have any idea of where she is?" Kalim's mother asked, "Oh, you know her, always a free spirit. Honey, please, get along and don't burn anything down" Your mother said walking away laughing with Kalim's mother. "Well if the ladies says so" both Kalim's father and yours laughed. They were pretty close friends appart from alies. You in other hand...

Y/N POV:

I walked down the wide corridors of the palace. Everything sparkling clean and covered by thick golden decoration that gave the palace an exotic aura. I changed my clasic robes for something more casual and discrete so I could pass unadverted. I saw a female servant struggling with some plates that she had to carry to the kitchen. I took somes in my hands and smiled "Do you mind if I help you?" The servant smiled thankfully and guided me to the kitchen. As I entered through new smells and species arrived to meet me. A lot of servants and maids were busy preparing the banquet to celebrate my family arrival. Among them giving intructions was a young man, more or less as the same age as me. His long straight charcoal black hair pulled up into a ponytail. His grey eyes seemed focused on the pot infront of him until the instant I entered through the door. We locked eyes for a monent until I remembered the plates I was carrying. Following the maid once again we left the plates and came back to where the kitchen was. Taking a look at the boy again I left to change into my robes again and go to were my parents were.

Walking into the banquet area, I hurried and sat next to my dad and near Kalim.

"Y/N!!!" Exclaimed Kalim "How long! It has been years!" Giggling I said "Yeah I almost didn't recognize you". I added, Kalim was my friend. I met him when I was five in a meeting dad had with his father once. Though we got along pretty well distance and royal dutties were always a problem. "The palace has changed a few since the last time, It has pretty cool things now. Come on, I will show you!!" Kalim stood up and took my hand. Excusing myself I followed him through the palace.

"And this is the room I was talking you about..." Kalim gave me a complete tour over the palace. I had so much fun with him. We caught up pretty quickly and ended up doing pretty fun stuff. "Kalim, what are you doing here? You should be in the banquet room. You can't keep avoiding dutty again" a stoic vioce said behind us. We both turned arround at the same time. The same boy of the kitchen was looking at us. His eyes widdened as he looked at me. "You are..." I trailed of. The boy quicky shaked his head to get off of the sourprise.

Jamil's POV.

Shaking my head I looked at the floor. I did a mid-bow hoping that the action could mask my perplexed expression. "My apologies, I didn't knew Kalim had company". Why, just why. That girl of the kitchen is the heir of .... family. Y/N, if I remember correctly. After a few seconds Kalim jumped by my side and side-hugged me. "Y/N! I want you to know my friend Jamil. He is an excelent dancer and cooks delicious meals" I bowed again to her. "Is a pleasure to meet you princess Thalassos"

She spoke softly to me "No need of formalities, you can call me Y/N. Kalim's friends are my friends". I stayed straight and noded once. Now that I looked at her directly, she was even prettier than she looked in the kitchen. After a few seconds I adverted my gaze. Taking a deep breath I noticed my skin flush and my heartbeat fasten. Kalim noticed my uncomfortableness and took Y/N away. "Oh, I haven't show you the magic carpet yet! Come on Y/N!" Smiling she followed him "Bye Jamil, it was a pleasure, I hope to see you arround" The only thing that came out of my mouth was a simple "Y-yeah..." She smiled again and turned her back to me "wait for me Kalim!".

I stood there dumbfounded, perhaps she... no, it can't be. Not in this world at least.

A servant aproached to me and handed me a shawl with festive motives made of silk that I knoted over my waist "A-are you okay sir?" Looking away from the direction where she disappeared I responded to the servant "Yeah... Is nothing... ".

No one's POV

That night while every one was sleeping and the guards took a break and marched back to the quarters to shift turns, a princess sneaked out of her room and to the balcony. The moon was bigger that she had ever seen. Leaning into the railing, she submerged herself into the cold air of the arabian nights.

Another night owl deambuled through the corridors of the enormous palace.
The balcony of the west wing of the palace was a great place to relax but there he met another silhouette with the same plan as him.
Slowly aprroaching that misterious shadow, he took in every detail, he closer he got, the more feminine the silhouette seemed, until he was just a few feets of her. He recogniced her almost immediately. Her (h/l) (h/c) flowing gently by the breeze. She wore a sleveless white nightgown that reached jus above her knees. She had her arms crossed over her chest with her small hands rubbing over her arms.

"You must be cold" He said making her turn into his direction. "here" he said unknoting the shawl and putting it arround her shoulders "Thank you..." She said slowly caresing it and looking back at him. "I might ask princess Y/N, what brings you here so late at night?" Jamil asked "I don't know" you responded "I couldn't sleep. And you?" she asked softly "I guess midnight thoughts I guess" He responded. Then, after a few second, smiling he turned to you. "Hey, won't you be up to a magic carpet ride?"
