"So, you're telling me, you're able to communicate with every single species under the sea?"

Hongjoong and Seonghwa had just woken up from a good nights sleep in their capsules, and were now back on the lookout in the outskirts of Zeeta, exploring what they couldn't the previous day.

They got breakfast, which was apparently cooked salmon, which weirded Hongjoong out. Not for what it was, he lived in a castle which was near the ocean, he's had his fair share of seafood. No, what confused him was how the hell they cooked it underwater.

Seonghwa says they get the raw meat and put a certain potion on it, which cooks it like it was put in an oven. Hongjoong felt like he could faint at that, he needed to check out these potions sometimes, it seemed there was one for everything.

Now, they decided they should learn a bit more about each other. Actually, Hongjoong decided that. Seonghwa gave him a quick "Fuck You" before agreeing, since they had nothing better to do and they would die of boredom before they find the shard.

"Yup"

"Wow, even seaweed? Clams?" Hongjoong questioned innocently, which made Seonghwa scowl and smack him upside the head.

"No you idiot, species that can actually communicate." Hongjoong guessed that, he just liked to mess with Seonghwa.

The way Seonghwa's lips would turn downwards slightly and his eyebrows would furrow, Hongjoong loved to see it. He didn't know why, he assumed that because he hated Seonghwa, he loved to see him angry. I mean, what else could it be?

"So, I've been doing a lot of the talking, what about you? What do you do up on land?" From this sentence alone, you'd assume he was asking a nice question or making polite conversation, however Seonghwa's monotone voice and uninterested face made it clear he was only asking to fill the silence between them, and that he couldn't care less about Hongjoong's life on land.

"Well, I do a lot of reading. Ooh! And writing I guess. Well, I don't have much free time up on land, I spend most of it practicing and training." Hongjoong responded without thinking. Only after he finished, did he realise what he said and may have insinuated.

Personally, he doesn't see the harm in telling them who he really is. Seonghwa will also be king, maybe then they'd relate a bit more and get along. Mingi disagreed.

Hongjoong couldn't think of why, but Mingi refused to let any of them know even a snippet of their royalty. Mingi told him it's dangerous and could backfire immensely on their part and Hongjoong trusts him with his life. So he will do whatever it takes to prevent them knowing.

If Mingi says it's dangerous, then it's dangerous alright.

"Training? For what? I noticed you and Mingi seemed to be in much brighter and neater attire compared to San. Why is that?" Seonghwa questioned, unbeknownst of Hongjoong's inner turmoil. Hongjoong was trying to think of an excuse, and quick.

"Uhm... uh..."

"Hey, it's alright if you don't want to share. I mean, I didn't tell you about Yeosang, so if you feel uncomfortable talking about it, we don't have to." Seonghwa looked down and avoided eye contact. While he does hate Hongjoong with a passion, his words were sincere.
