The sky was a dark grey, fogged over by the wispy clouds which were crying out strong lines of tears. The strong wind swayed the crystal blue waves of the sea, rocking the small fishing boat with it. The figure on the boat seemed to be worried, looking around the dancing waves for something dear to him.
The wind almost deafened him, yet the voice that spoke out was as clear as glass, as smooth as silk and as calming as the beach on a sunny, summer afternoon. "Jongho.. Jongho." It called out. The figure looked around in panic and worry, looking for the source of the voice.
"Jongho." The figure looked left and found the owner of the voice. San sat there, afloat atop the aggressive waves, eerily still, as if just sitting on a chair on the solid ground. He had a tranquil smile set on his face, eyes fixed on Jongho's, trying to share his calmness.
"San Hyung... San! Here! Grab my hand!" Jongho shouted from the boat, reaching out to grab San, but it seemed that every time he would try, San would get further out of reach. "I can't, i can't come back right now. But adhear to my words Jongho. I've not perished. We've not perished."
Out of nowhere, Hongjoong and Mingi sat on the left and right of San, also seeming relaxed and floating on the water. Jongho stayed silent, listening as to what his older brother wanted to tell him.
"We've not perished Jongho. We're alive, we're still in this earth, but maybe not on it. Always remember that Jjongie, we're here for you, we will come back for you. You just have to stay resilient, stay alert, and don't lose hope." Suddenly, the three figures seemed to be slowly fading out of colour.
Jongho tried to reach out again to salvage at least a little of what he just saw, yet in one blink, they were gone. Tears streamed down Jongho's sweat filled face as he screamed out in agony. "SAN, HONGJOONG, MINGI HYUNG! PLEASE DON'T GO! COME BACK, DON'T LEAVE ME!"
Another, mysterious voice broke his screams, except this one was concerned and distant, slowly growing clearer. "Hey!" It called quietly.
"Hello.."
"Excuse me."
"PLEASE WAKE UP!"
Jongho jolted up in the small, creaky bed, panting hard in a cold sweat. To the right of him was a strange but slightly familiar face. It was then Jongho was reeled back into reality. He was rescued by two kind men from his small boat and was taken into a much bigger one.
"Oh! You're alright. It was just a nightmare, calm down." This wasn't the man that lulled him to sleep earlier, and that alarmed him. Jongho quickly scrambled out of the bed and put his fists up in defence. The man was insanely tall, which one would assume gives off an intimidating aura, however this man did not seem like one to fight, with his puppy-like features and worried expression.
"Oh! I forgot, you don't know me! Terribly sorry for scaring you, my name is Kim Mingyu, I'm the owner of this boat." He put his hand out to shake and had a convincing smile adorning his face. Albeit reluctant, Jongho shook his hand, and instantly felt his guard go down, this man didn't seem as if he could do any harm.
"If you're wondering where the person that saved you is, he's making some lunch! I'll take you out to the dining area, as I assume he's nearly, if not already finished." Mingyu spoke confidently, with a little bit of fondness in his tone. He walked out the room and Jongho assumed this meant he should follow.
