ALESSANDRO'S POV 

"Are you guys ready" i ask the boys as they come downstairs 

"Yea" i hear them all say and i nod 

I look at Vallyk and he's just staring off into space with a frown. I approach him and put my hand on his shoulder 

He looks up at me "what if something happens and we don't make it in time" he says with concern written all over his face

I walk with him to the hallway where everyone is "guys we made a plan alright and we stick to it. Nothing is gonna happen to Alexa ok we'll be right there watching her from a distance so she doesn't notice us. And if we see her go somewhere with Nikolai then follow them but don't make it noticeable. Everything is gonna be alright ok"

Everyone nods but sadness is still cast on their faces

I tell them it's time to go and we head to the ball

ALEXANDRA'S POV

Im at the ball now just looking around for Nikolai at the bar drinking my whiskey. Don't worry im not a lightweight

I see Nikolai talking to some other maifas/gangs and that's when i make my plan happen 

I tip the bartender and start walking to Nikolai looking lost

I 'bump' into him "oh my god i am so sorry i bumped i-into to you i-i was just lost l-looking for the bathroom and i-i  started asking pe-"

"Honey it's ok do you want me to show you to where the bathroom is" he says with a smirk and i groan inwardly while i nod and he hooks his arm with mine

As we're walking to the bathroom i see woman glaring at me and looking at Nikolai shocked 

I know im beautiful people but stop staring it's creepy

I pull Nikolai closer to me in attempt to make him think that i don't like the attention 

He looks down at me "what's wrong малыш" he said as we enter an empty hallway         (baby)

"O-oh nothing i just didn't like how the people were looking at me probably because im with you. You must be a really important person for people to be staring at you like that" i say innocently while looking down 

He cups my chin making me look up "yes i am. Do you know what i work in tho" he says and i shake my head 'nervously' 

"Ok im going to tell you but you cannot tell anyone ok baby" i nod "ok honey do you know what a mafia is" he asks like im a fucking child 

"Well yea you know in those fable books and stuff" i say and he laughs and shakes his head 

He pulls me by my waist and leans in to whisper something in my ear "oh no baby they aren't fables" he bites my earlobe and i shiver in disgust " i am the don of the Russian mafia baby"

I swear to god if this man says baby again

I gasp and step back while he just stands there looking confused "o-oh i-i didn't t-think they were real.
