Chapter Seventeen

~Y/N POV~

This would be my second doctors appointment since finding out I'm pregnant. The first was just to confirm pregnancy if I already knew and now this one is a check up to see how many weeks I am exactly and all that other stuff.

Nathan and Rose came with me for support and because I made the decision to give the baby over to Rose and Vernon I thought it would be nice that Rose come with me for my appointments and be part of that.

Sitting in the waiting room for my name to be called made me impatient I just wanted to get in there and back out so I can spend the rest of my day in bed alone. Even if I know Nathan wouldn't allow me to have that moment in peace, its worth a try.

Listening to that clock on the wall tick away and small chatter from Rose and Nathan beside me I just looked around the room, tapping my feet rapidly off the floor trying to preoccupy my mind. Even if being here felt off to begin with, it was like a sense was telling me that I'm not alone when it's obvious I'm not but there was more to it than that.

When I looked over to the window in front of me I gasped when I swear I saw something speed passed. Almost so fast that if it were anyone else, they wouldn't of seen it but this is me and I'm not a normal human being. My eye sight is usually impeccable if alcohol isn't involved then that's a whole different story.

But seeing something move that fast only one thing comes to mind, or shall I say person?

Jungkook.

Having him in my mind I stood up, ready to run out that door to go look for him. For what I'm going through right now, I would love nothing more than to be in his arms and have that comfort, to feel that connection once again. But I stopped mid step when a thought came to mind.

He might hate me if he were to find out I'm pregnant by someone else and that would crush me if he did. So I sat back down just in time to hear my name called.

Nathan took my hand and stood up with Rose and myself. I numbly headed towards the nurse smiling kindly towards us and gestured for us to follow her which we did out the waiting room and down the hallway until we stopped by a white door that was already laying open.

I just walked in with Nathan having Rose follow us in and close the door behind us but I froze in my steps when I seen who my doctor was. I knew it was her just by looking at her back and when she turned around offering a smile I just ran to her and threw myself in her arms.. She stumbled back at impact chuckling and patting my back as she hugged me.

"Clara I've missed you so much."

"I've missed you too. You've grown up beautifully." Clara

I found myself crying in her arms. It was good to see someone familiar from that place, someone I can trust that isn't outside of Nathan's family. Clara was almost like my mother growing up until it was decided she was no longer needed and she disappeared. Now she's my doctor.

"Erm Y/n?" Nathan

I pulled away from Clara, wiping my tears.

"Sorry. This is Clara, the woman that raised myself and Jungkook back at the lab."

I honestly couldn't believe it.

"It's nice to meet you Clara. I'm Rose and this is my nephew Nathan." Rose

Clara shook hands with both Rose and Clara and then gestured for me to sit down on a the examination chair that was already in waiting for  laying down on but I going to do that yet.

"Okay so since I'm going to be your doctor I will start off by taking samples from you Y/n and then we'll move on to your scan okay?" Clara

I nod and held out my arm when she came over with a large needle. Something I'm use to and Clara has taken blood from be before so it's nothing strange I haven't seen before.

Clara pierce my skin with the needle, extracting blood and then applying pressure after just to wonder across the room and squirt the blood into a glass vile.

"What are you doing? Don't you have to send it away to get tested?"

"Under normal circumstances yes but since we don't want anyone to know you are pregnant Y/n it would be safer if I test it myself." Clara

"That makes sense Y/n. It's safer." Rose

I nod towards Rose and the room became silent while Clara tested my blood in different glass tubes and would use kind of equimemt to get a closer look of my blood sample.

"Well everything is good here but Y/n can I ask you something?" Clara

She asked me turning around frowning and took up a stool beside me already pulling out the machine for the scan.

"Yeah?"

"Do you know who the father is?" Clara

I shook my head frowning back at her.

"Actually Clara, Y/n doesn't know who the father is. It was a one night stand." Nathan

"Why?"

I asked her, wondering why she would ask me that after looking at my blood.

"It just seems that....well sometimes the DNA in the foetus can be seen in the mothers blood before the baby is born and well your child is showing DNA of being a fully generated child." Clara

"Okay? What does that mean?"

"It means that the father had to of been like you Y/n. As in genetically enhanced to become stronger than the normal human being. I was expecting to see only half of those genetics coming from your baby but no, it's full breed." Clara

I gasped and looked over to Nathan and Rose. Rose looked as shocked as I was but Nathan, he was looking around the room suspicious unable to look at me in the eye. Squinting my eyes at him, I knew something was up. It's no unknown fact that only myself and the seven boys I left behind are exactly like me.

"Nathan."

I stated his name in a serious tone but yet he still didn't look at me.

"Yes?" Nathan

He squeaked my name but I clicked my fingers at him angrily and he flinched turning his head to finally meet my gaze.

"You know don't you?"

For several seconds he stared at me, biting his lip until Rose nudged his shoulder and he nodded sighing heavily and looking down shamefully.

"Then who? Like how the fuck did this happen? How did I not know it was one of them?"

Right now I was full of anger, betrayal, relief in some way and a little happy.

"NATHAN WHO?!"

He flinched in his seat, even Rose and Clara both flinched with fright but I can apologise later. Right now I wanted to know who.

"It was Taehyung." Nathan
