SUNDAY MORNING
We were all at the airport waiting for our plane in silence
Lani: oh my gosh can one of y'all say something? the silent treatment been going all weekend and this shit getting on my nerves!
I looked at her and stayed quiet. Kobe did the same
Lani: I know damn well I'm not talking to myself here!
Kobe: if I try to say sum to her she just gon ignore me.
Jai: then uh apologize??
Kobe: are you slow? I've done that so many times she still won't talk to me
Derek: I mean I don't really blame her. If a girl did that to me I'd do what she's doing right now
Kobe: oh yea that was very helpful *sarcastically*
Derek: Im just saying
We got on our plane and sat in different seats. I sat away from everyone else because I felt like I'm the one that actually caused this whole thing to happen
3 hours later
We all took the same Uber back to our houses, I was the first one to get to my house.
Riley: *gasps* YAY YOUR BACK!!
I squeezed her
D: I missed you
Riley: I missed you more! But you forgot to call me😕
D: I know and I'm sorry I wasn't feeling well after you left me
Riley: oh it's ok! I won't ever leave you again!
My mom and dad came in the living room as well. We gave hugs and stuff then Riley went to her room
Mom: daija are you feeling better?
D: nahh. It really hurt at the beginning but it just hurts even more because I didn't listen to dad
Dad: wait so you didn't tell him?
D: oh no I did tell him...well it was kinda by force tho
Mom: by force?
D: *sigh* yea we had this big argument yesterday and he was like "why did you do all this* and I said it was because I liked him.
Dad: ¿por qué no hablas con el?
(Why don't you talk to him)
D: because then I'd have to look at him and if I look at him I'm just gonna feel more hurt
Dad: oh ok I understand. But talk to him when you are ready
Mom: look right now you need to get some sleep you look like you have not slept at all
I nodded my head and went straight to my bed.

7 WEEKS LATER Sunday afternoon
(Damn that's a biggg time skip lol)
These past 7 weeks have been horrible. I've been avoiding my friends not just Kobe but everyone, my therapist doesn't answer my freaking calls anymore, and I've been stealing my mom's alcohol. That's literally the only thing that's been keeping me on my feet. Everybody has been texting in the group chat except for me I know that Kobe's mom or sister isn't home and I also know that they've all been hanging out together but I'm not bothered by it. Just because my mental health is doing horrible right now doesn't mean they should all stop hanging out because of me, I was about to take a nap when I got a call from Derek I decided to answer this time.
D: what is it now?
Derek: KOBE!! HES IN THE HOSPITAL!
D: w-what? What happened
Derek: we don't know! They won't tell us anything
D: shit! Ummmmm ok I'm on my way but don't tell jai or lani I'm coming
Derek: I won't I won't!
(Just so y'all don't get confused if I type In bold it means I'm talking and when I type in italics with no parentheses it means Daijas mind is talking or that she is thinking)
Wtf? The hospital? What if this is my fault? What if he loses his memory?
I got in my car, drove to the hospital and saw them in the waiting room
D: what happened? Where is he? Is he okay?
Jai: they won't tell us nothing and he sleep so we don't know anything yet.
Lani: you actually came? *smile on her face*
D: why would I not?
Derek: wait you still like Kobe right?
Jai: she likes him?
D: yes I do sill li- well kind of...well yes I do
Jai: you like him?
D: bro? Did you not just hear me answer that question?
Jai: ohhhh yea my bad
We stayed in the waiting room for about an hour until one of the doctors finally came out
Doc: hi are you guys Kobe's friends or?
I instantly stood up
D: yes we are
Doc: ok well 1. We found out that he hit a tree 2. He only broke his wrist but he's having a hard time remembering what happened that doesn't mean he has lost his memory though and 3. He is awake
D: he's awake? can go see him?
Doc: yes just follow me
We followed the doctor to the room he was in. His had a big wide smile on his face when he saw us but he didn't see me because I was hiding
Jai: wassup bro you good?
Kobe: yea...
Derek: you miss her don't you?
Kobe: yea....
Lani: good cause she right here
I moved from behind Derek and waved at him he was smiling mad hard
Jai: we gon be outside
They left the room and closed the door behind them. He held his arms out and I went straight into them
D: I missed you
Kobe: I missed yo tiny ass more then you missed me
I layed beside him as he put his arm around me. Then I realized he got hurt because of me
D: I'm sorry.
Kobe: for what?
D: for everything I've done..now your hurt because of me
Kobe: woahhhh first of all you didn't do nothing wrong if anything it was all me and second I actually didn't get hurt because of you. I was thinking about you and I got mad at myself for putting you through allat shit and I just hit the tree. You didn't do nothing so don't apologize. IM sorry for leading you on and thinking you wouldn't notice, I'm sorry for acting like everything was ok when it wasn't, I'm sorry for lying to you, I'm sorry for lying about everything and I'm sorry that because of my actions we didn't talk for 7 weeks and I love you.
