Angharad's titan roared

Angharad's titan roared. A deep, resounding scream that shook the ground and the trees. Eren reached up to cover his ears, as did the rest of his teammates. Levi, however, did not move, still staring up at the white haired titan form of his fellow squad leader.

Her arms were pinned against her body inside the well, something that was probably beneficial to their situation, as they did not know if she would have tried to reach for any of their soldiers. Hanji's excitement turned from glee to shock, her eyes widening behind her glasses and she, too, could only stare up at the glowing eyes of the unexpected guest.

Angharad roared again.

She thrashed around and tried to turn this way and that, trying to pull her arms up out of the well, but she was just too big, the well just too perfectly sized to keep her contained. The ground shook and vibrated as she did so, and she roared again.

"She seems...distressed." Hanji noted loudly. "Like she's in pain."

Eren looked at her movement, noticing that while her titan looked particularly menacing, she wasn't trying to lean down and bite at any of their squad. She was only trying to free herself, thrashing around, shaking the ground once more.

Pain.

Eren could remember when he was trapped in his own body the third time. How he remembered feeling like he was in a dream. Seeing his mother and father again. Mikasa with her long hair siting next to him, sewing into the red scarf he gave her. He remembered how he felt he never wanted to leave, yet it was Armin's voice that brought him back. He remembered looking up and seeing Armin trying to coax him awake through the window. Angharad was standing just over his shoulder on the outside of his childhood home. But she had said nothing, simply raised her arm, outstretched her hand to him. Beckoning him to her, to reach for her, to wake up.

Eren rushed forward, running past Captain Levi and his hands grabbing at him, trying to hold him back. He evaded his Captain's hold, moving to the base of the well, staring up at his Aunt's titan face.

"Lieutenant!" He cupped his hands around his mouth. His aunt didn't hear him and continued to try to move about in her confinement. "Lieutenant!" He screamed again, but she did not hear him.

"Eren, move back. We'll have to cut her out!" Levi gripped the handles of his swords but Eren held up a hand against him.

"No. Let me try and get her attention!"

"We don't know if she'll recognize you." Layla reasoned.

"Let me try!" Eren screamed in desperation. Levi unsheathed his swords, as did the rest of their squad. And even though they moved to surround her, they did not raise their swords, only kept them pointing towards the ground. Eren turned to face his Aunt's titan again.

"Auntie!" He screamed as loud as his voice would allow. Angharad roared again, and in an act of desperation, he cupped his hands around his mouth again. "Auntie Ang!"
