We all stare at each other as terror is evident in our faces. I know we could just report her to the police or call for help but the fact that she escaped a heavily guarded cell makes us rethink of the option of calling the cops on her.

Should I just go back to the forest and hide there?

No, this has to be stopped. She has to be really stopped, she has gotten crazy.

Should I call Niki? Maybe they can lend a hand.

No, it would be dangerous, they might get hurt and other people might as well.

My hands are trembling and our hearts almost stopped beating when we heard a noise upstairs, from my room.

Jay and Sunghoon immediately ran towards the bookshelf, opening something before pulling out . . . is that a gun?

Jungwon and Jake looked terrified as well.

Jay and Sunghoon's eyes are murderous and they seem like they could kill someone in a blink of an eye.

They pointed the guns towards the stairs as we hid behind them, I tried my best to remain standing despite my shaking legs. I held onto Jungwon as the noises stopped and only footsteps were heard.

Suddenly the person upstairs began to run and revealed himself to us. At the sight of the person made me let out a sigh.

"Niki?"

His eyes snap to me making my companions look at me.

Niki started to approach me, totally ignoring the guns pointed at him.

I don't have the strength to ran to him nor the strength to tell them who he is.

Jay and Sunghoon might have noticed that he's not an enemy so they lowered their guns and Niki walk up to me, the moment his arms wrap themselves around me, I collapse on the ground as I couldn't contain my sobs anymore. 

I'm shaking in fear and before I knew it, I fainted.

Niki

I woke up with panic coursing through my veins. I don't know where it is coming from but what I know is that this felt terrible.

I walk outside but the whole pack is peaceful, nothing like an attack is gonna happen. But my heartbeat is so quick and I am staring to feel scared. I dialed Sunoo's number but the moment he didn't answer, I know something could be wrong.

I ran to the alpha's office and good thing he's here.

"Soobin . . I have a problem. . I have to follow my mate, I felt scared and he's not answering his phone . .  please"

Soobin look at me before taking something from his drawer.

"Take this first. It will conceal your scent from other wolves. . . I know you will soon go there so I spoke with the pack doctor and he and Yeonjun deviced that potion. . just a drop Niki"

I immediately hugged Soobin before taking the small bottle and take a drop.

I ran into Jongseong on my way out.

"Where are you going?"

"oh. . uhm to Sunoo. . I drank a potion and I'll be safe there. . "

"Oh I see. . do you know where he lives?"

Oh shoot, I forgot. I hadn't realized until now that the human world is a lot bigger than our territory.
