"So, how are you and the new roommate?" Zion stood behind you, waiting to clock in.
"It's going good, actually." You pushed in your numbers and clocked in. You moved out of the way to allow Zion to do the same.
"You found anything weird yet?"
"Other than the fact that he don't drink apple juice, nah."
"Oh, word?" You and Zion walked out into the library.
"Yeah. But bro, you remember that guy that interrupted us that day?" Zion looked up, trying to figure out what you were talking about.
"Oh, yeah. What about it?"
"That was him. That was Armin!" You squealed quietly. You grabbed the cart of book returns, rolling it in front of you.
"Oh shit! I'm starting to believe that your dad really tryna set you up." She nudged your shoulder.
"Nah, I'm not into white boys." You shook your head, heading over to the bookshelves.
"Bruh c'mon, he fine. Who care if he a blizzard beast?"
"Bitch." You both laughed.
"Nah but for real, Armin look good. If you like him, you should shoot ya shot."
"Good thing I don't like him." You grabbed some books out of the cart and began putting them away.
"Oh, your sister gotta date with that man-bun boy on Friday. We doubling." You whipped your head around, facing Zion.
"Who you going wit?" You asked.
"Some girl I've been talking to." You turned your body, facing your friend.
"You been talking to someone?"
"Yeah, but only for a few months."
"A few months!?" You whisper-yelled. "Why ain't you tell me?"
"Ion know, but I'm telling you now."
"What's her name?"

You looked up at your building as Zion pulled into the complex. You grabbed your bag and the rest of your things, ready to leave when Zion stopped you.
"Nuh-uh bitch you said you had sum to gimme." You smiled, happy that she remembered.
"Well, 'member 2 and a half years ago when you lemme move in with you and I said that I owed you?" You reached into your bag, grabbing an envelope.
"No, but keep going."
"Here." You handed the envelope to Zion. She began opening it, looking at you skeptically.
