"Lani you can at least help clean up." My sister fussed. Her friends were coming over and she had the audacity to think I was gonna help clean up for her company.
"Nah you got it baby girl." I smiled going up to my room laying down. After a couple of minutes laying down I heard lots commotion coming from downstairs so I'm guessing they're finally here.
I got up too go see who was all down there. Reaching the last steps I seen 3 dudes. One with pretty eyes, one with waves, and another with tattoos.
"Hey, I'm lani." I said introducing myself.
"Quent." The pretty eyes replied.
"Trey." The one with waves replied.
"Vontae." The last one said.
"Nice to meet y'all." I smiled going into the kitchen to get a drink.
"Lani you wanna chill down here and watch movies?" Samaria, my sister asked laid up with Trey.
"Yeah. Let me go get my phone real quick." I answered. Coming back down I sat beside Vontae.
We were in the middle of watching How High when Vontae stretched out and laid his head in my lap.
"Excuse me sir." I whispered tapping him.
"Can I please lay here?" He asked looking up at me. His voice was deep but so innocent at the same time.
"Yeah." I nodded caressing his head.
We finished multiple movies and somehow we ended up with his his head in my chest lightly snoring.
"Vontae, I'm going to my room." I whispered shaking him but he didn't budge.
"Vontae." I said a little louder.
"Yes?" He mumbled moving around.
"I'm going to my room, get up."
He nodded before getting off me so I could move.
"Lani." He mumble grabbing my arm. "Can I come with?"
"Sure." I nodded. I don't know why I was this comfortable with him but I could sense he wasn't a bad person.
I headed up to my room with him following.
