I sat in my room bored out my mind. Today is the first day of the challenge and I'm already miserable.
"Lemme call Dymond." I said to myself.
"Hello." She said answering the phone.
"Hey Dymond gurl." I smiled into the camera.
"What do you want?" She asked laughing.
"I'm bored. What you doin?"
"Umm I'm with my girl right now. Speaking of her why you not with Vontae?"
"I can't see him for a week." I pouted.
"What he in jail?"
"Nooo issa dare/challenge. If we win we get a trip to wherever and the gang gone pay for it, but they haven't decided what's gone happen if they win."

"Lani!" My grandma called from downstairs.

"Old lady I know you heard me answer you." I replied sitting beside her on the couch.

"Okay miss gurl. The real question is can you pick it back up." I asked.
"Shut up." She said mushing my head.
"What you needed?" I asked laughing.
"I need you to run to the store and pick up some stuff for diner tonight." She said handing me a list and money.
"Okay Lemme go get dressed." I said going back up my my room.
I put on my black biker shorts and a crop tank top I got from SHEIN with my Nike slides then headed out.
At Walmart
"What even is this?" I asked myself lookin at the list my grandma gave to me.
"Lani?" I heard my name being called so I looked up to see Paige, a girl I knew from High School.
"Hey." I smiled. "How you been?"
"I've be good, you?"
"Same." I smiled she stood there for a while before breaking the awkward silence.
"Umm you still do nails?"
"I haven't been doin them recently."
"Can you do mines? I'm in this wedding and I can't go back to the salon with them Asian people cause they don't ever get it right."
"Sure, just text me on Instagram to set up your appointment."
"Okay, see you later." I nodded and then she walked off.
"Well it looks like I'm doing nails again." I mumble.
I grabbed everything off the list and headed back home.
