Smoke and dust filled up Dave's home, blinding him. Crisps of burnt wallpaper floated down onto the floor. While waiting for the dust to settle, he look at his hand. His lunch was gone, while he was still holding the fork.

"Are you kidding me..."

His floor was covered with grey dust and some black, his lamp shattered. In front of him was an barely visible invisible wall in the air. Grabbing his cane, he poked it, causing a ripple through out.

"Hmm...That should be where the bastards have gone to."

Slowly approaching the invisible wall, he
shouted,

"I'll get my lunch back, no matter what!"

Reaching out to it with his cane, he started noticing that the smoke hadn't settled down yet on the other side, instead it was frozen in place, shards of glass floated in mid-air. Steadly, he touched it with his hand.

Feelings beyond expression overwhelmed him. There was holy white light , shining in all its glory. Voices started speaking, memories of his past were lain before him, unfolding. All his past mistakes, his happy moments, everything.Dave stared blankly into nothingness, as a tear dropped from his eye. Gradually, everything faded into darkness.

Dave opened his eyes, gasping for air. Staring upwards, he saw a sky so grey and lifeless. Regaining his senses, he got up from the sideway. And the first thing he saw, was chaos.
