I was sleeping when I heard banging on my front door

I groaned because it was too early for someone to be doing this bullshit

I checked my phone to see the actual time and it was only six in the morning

I sucked my teeth because they started banging louder on my door so I got up to get it

I opened the door to see Leilani and my mom, they looked pissed but I didn't care because I was mad that I was woken up

"What y'all want?"

They didn't say anything and just pushed passed me

I sucked my teeth again and closed the door because what could they possibly need at my house right now?

I made my way to the kitchen where they were at and got some food out

"Taurus sit down we need to talk"

My mom told me so I listened

"Like I said before what do y'all want?"

"We came here to talk about Tjay"

Leilani told me and I sighed because I already knew they were gonna get on me about what happened

"Look that's really not anyone's business but ours"

"But you are my business"

"I know that ma but this isn't something I wanna talk about right now"

"I don't care about all that just answer us when we talking to you and I don't need no back talk either because you too grown to be acting like a kid Taurus now talk to us"

I groaned out of frustration because I knew they wasn't gonna leave me alone any time soon

"Okay what y'all wanna know?"

"Why did you talk to Tjay like that?"

My sister asked me

"It was just the heat of the moment I didn't mean to disrespect him like that I was just mad and I'm not gonna lie and say I'm not mad anymore because I still am but I've calmed down"

"I mean I understand why you were mad but there's other ways of handling your anger"

"Ma I know that, but I didn't think I was the dad plus I thought he was with someone else and moved on quick and am I not allowed to voice how I feel about this whole situation?"

"Okay but did you let him speak before you started assuming things because you be doing that a lot and you're allowed to voice how you feel but not like that though"

"No I don't"

"Yes you do and I can name a lot of times when you was being nosy and assumed some dumb shit when we were kids so be quiet and answer the question"

I didn't have time for them to be annoying me but I answered her anyways

"Yeah I did"

"Okay and what did you do after he told you the baby was yours?"

My mom asked me with a straight face, yeah she not playing with me

"I was mad, but that's only because he waited this long to tell me that I'm gonna be a dad like that's messed up and he know it is"

They sighed but nodded

"We get that Taurus but you should have went a different route when expressing how you felt but next time just be calmer"

Leilani told me standing up

"Now gimme a hug"

I got up to hug her but she hit me in my head

"Why you put your hands on me for? and you know you heavy handed"

She laughed at me like it was funny but I was being dead serious

"I had to but now gimme a hug"

I hugged her and soon pulled away

"Okay why did you hug me"

"Because I'm gonna have a nephew soon and I'm just happy for you and Tjay"

"Oh thanks"

"Um what type of thank you was that?"

My mom asked looking at me funny

"Right! like aren't you happy to have a son soon?

"I mean I guess it's just confusing like what am I supposed to do?"

"Taurus just talk to Tjay and work out y'all differences because he's gonna have the baby soon and I'm sure after y'all talk you'll probably feel better"

"Okay thanks y'all"
