"jaden answer my question" nessa demanded as she faced the boy. he stayed silent. "you can't just kiss me like that then ghost me for the next what? like two weeks?!" she yelled, in the verge of tears. "i'm sorry" was all he could say. "sorry? sorry?!" she repeated, tears now pooling her eyes.
"i'm sorry i kissed you! i'm sorry i couldn't bring myself to talk to you!" he yelled, raw emotion in his voice. "i'm sorry i couldn't face the fact that i'm in love with you." his tone fell low, that wasn't supposed to come out. "what?" her voice cracked.
he stared and shrugged. "i fell for you. i fell for you when i knew it was wrong and it hurts because i know you still love him." he told her, looking right into her eyes. both had tears running down their faces. "you saw it" she said.
his face showed confusion, "me and josh" she said. he didn't say anything back, and just nodded. "then why? why do you still choose me?" she blurted out through tears. "the heart wants what it wants" he said, making his way towards her.
before she could reply he pulled her by the waist and locked their lips. suddenly everything was gone again. sparks flew as their hearts raced. she was his muse, and he was her person. soulmates.
as they pulled away their eyes locked.
they finally found what they needed; each other.
