Chapter 19

Cala/ Alice POV- I woke up in the same room for earlier today but it felt more homie and not as scary as before. I push over the covers and slide off the bed landing smoothly onto the floor and walked to the door but before I could get my hands on the nob the maid walked in.

"o miss Alice your awake"

she said quietly but wouldn't look at me it was rude and kinda strange but I didn't say anything about it

"yes I just woke up and I'm hungry may I have a snack?"

I asked with a big smile and she smile back.

"yes miss you can have a snack but first you must get dressed it's not proper for a girl to stay in her sleep clothes all day"

she told me as she went to my closet and pulls out a purple dress white knee heigh socks and black Mary Janes. As she dressed me I looked down at the dress and found something shocking. IT WAS SHORT!! Like super short. The dress was a purple fabric with white Design and had short selves but as you go down the dress it had little poof going right above my knees. The rest of my legs were covered by the long ruffled socks so I guess it wasn't that bad. I guess.

After I was dress the maid took me into the bathroom and helped brush my teeth and hair. (she gave me pigtails) then opened the door for me and I walked out. She followed close behind.

Once I found the stairs I started running down and when I got closer to the bottom I jumped and braced for when I hit the ground....but it never came. When I opened my eyes I was being held bridle style by a not so happy looking Claud.

"miss Alice there will be no playing on the stairs"

he scolded me and I crossed my arms pouting

"whatever"

I snap and he glared down at me with red eyes but I was not afraid I just glare back. He sighed after a minute and carried me into the siting room ware big brother was reading a book. I got excited so I wiggled out of Claud's arms and ran over to Alois giving him a big hug and when I did he jumped probably because he didn't expect me but when he saw me he smile and put his book down.

When I looked up at his face I got a felling of mixed emotions and got a flash of a nother face in the back of my mind but pushed it aside.

"hello Alice you were asleep for a long time did you sleep well?"

I was asked and I nodded before asking him.

"can I have a snack I'm hungry"

alois smiled brightly before jumping out of his seat and grabbing my hand then running to the kitchen as he talked

"of corse you can have a snack you slept through tea and lunch so you must be hungry!! Also we have a lot of food Claud makes the best"

he said happily and we finally made it into the kitchen ware I found tables and cabinet filled with fine chocolates and other desserts. I started in aw as I walked around looking for what I wanted. After a minute I finally settled for a couple macarons (there colorful!) and some tea. In a tea cup I should add XD

After snack time alois and I went outside and ran around playing games like tag,hop scotch,jumprope,and even hide and seek!! we were having so much fun but the whole time I was outside I felt like I was being watched.

" your highness miss Cala it is time to come inside"

Claud informed Alois and I and we raced inside was we found tea and cookie waiting for us. I was about to take a cookie when Alois smacked my hand and I pulled it back quickly.

"what was that for you nit!"

I yelled at Alois and he stepped closer to me

"I wanted to pick fist so you have to wait"

he said picking up a cookie and was about to take a bit when I smack it out of his hand. He looked at me In shock and I stood there in shock not believing I did that then I head a voice say run and a darted past him as he chased after me. He would have cough me if a crash in the kitchen wouldn't have cough his attention and stopped him.
