Chapter 2

(A/N: I don't use twitter so if something I say is incorrect I have an excuse
Also, I think Ranboo's twitter is something else but I'm not sure so I'm just gonna go with Ranboo)

(Y/N) stared with a mix of confusion, excitement and disbelief at the notification.
THE Ranboo had followed HER?
She hurriedly unlocked her phone and her fingers shot over to twitter. As this happened, a second notification appeared on her screen.

Ranboo would like to message you

(Y/N) had to stifle her excitement, as she was already supposed to be in bed.
Nervously, she opened and accepted the message.

Ranboo: Hello :) I really enjoyed your stream today

Thoughts were rushing through her head.
"OH MY GOD! THE RANBOO MESSAGED ME!"
"I HAVE TO RESPOND! I CAN'T LEAVE HIM ON READ!"
She went to type a response when she froze.
What should she say?
What if she says something cringe and he doesn't want to talk anymore?
These thoughts along with many more plagued her mind as she considered responses.
Finally she settled on one.

BlueDaisies: I'm glad you enjoyed it! It was really exciting to see you in the chat :D

(Y/N) waited excitedly as she saw the typing bubbles come up.

Ranboo: You're chat was very fun and you seem very cool!

BlueDaisies: Thank you!!!

(Y/N) mentally facepalmed.
She was talking to one of her idols and she was talking like an idiot.

Ranboo: This probably seems sudden but you seem fun and I was wondering if you would possibly want to stream together?

"No way" (Y/N) whispered in disbelief.
She was getting a chance to stream with Ranboo? There was no way this was happening.

BlueDaisies: Really? I mean, of course I'm saying yes but this just seems too crazy to not be a dream

BlueDaisies: God, I'm sorry, that was cringe, I'm just very excited :)

Ranboo: Haha, I am also excited, don't worry! :)

Ranboo: You usually stream on Wednesdays correct? If so, we could stream tomorrow if you want.

BlueDaisies: That sounds great :D

BlueDaisies: I actually have to go to bed now, my mom will not be pleased if she discovers I am still awake

Ranboo: Ok, sleep well :)

BlueDaisies: Good night (:

(Y/N) plugged her phone in on her bedside table. Tomorrow she would be streaming with one of her idols.
What would they do? Well minecraft obviously but would it be pvp? Survival? What if she says something stupid?
"Well, guess we'll just have to wait and see." (Y/N) sighed.
Even with all these concerns flooding her mind, exhaustion overtook her and she fell asleep.

A loud, annoying beeping awoke (Y/N) from her peaceful slumber.
"Ahhhggg," (Y/N) held a hand to her face to block out the sun coming from to window as she reached out to her phone and groggily asked herself "why is light?"
After successfully grabbing her phone,  she managed to turn of the alarm and sit up. Squinting slightly, still adjusting to light, (Y/N) looked over her notifications.

(Y/N) had to process for a second. Why was Ranboo in her messages?
Then the memories came flooding back and she was suddenly fully conscious.
She clicked on the notification and unlocked her phone so she could see what Ranboo had said.

Ranboo: Good morning! I just realized we need to exchange discords for when we stream! Mine is Ranboo #*****
4:21 AM

"OH GOD! That was sent so long ago!" (Y/N) whisper yelled. Not wanting Ranboo to have to wait any longer, she quickly responded.

BlueDaisies: Oops! Sorry I didn't respond sooner! I was still asleep!

BlueDaisies: My discord is BlueDaisies #*****

Ranboo: It's fine :)

Ranboo: Pog, I'll friend you

Almost immediately, a discord notification popped up on her screen.

Ranboo has requested to be your friend
(A/N: I use discord, I have no excuse for this being wrong but I'm almost certain it is-)

(Y/N) accepted with zero hesitation. She had never imagined she would even talk to Ranboo, much less be friends with him on discord.
Soon, a message appeared on discord.

Ranboo:
It's official, we are now friends.

BlueDaisies:
I BECAME FRIENDS WITH RANBOO (NOT CLICKBAIT)

Ranboo:
LMAO XD
Any way, what do you want to do for the stream?

BlueDaisies:
I was gonna ask you the same thing 😅
Uhhhhhhh, we could do a survival world or something

Ranboo:
That sounds good to me :)
Want to stream in a couple hours?

BlueDaisies:
Sounds good!

"Oh my god, I sounded so awkward" (Y/N) mentally facepalmed.
As she was being disappointed in herself, a knock came from her door.
"(Y/N)? I'm gonna make some waffles for breakfast, would you like some?" Her mom opened the door to ask.
"Yes please" (Y/N) responded, the worry about her awkwardness faded from her mind and was replaced with pure excitement about her stream later that day.
"You look excited" Her mom laughed softly.
"I'm just looking forward to streaming today! I'm gonna have a special guest!" (Y/N) minorly rambled, as she walked into her closet and quickly changed into a oversized hoodie and sweatpants.
"Is it that friend of yours, what was it? oh! Is it Pear?" Her mom asked as (Y/N) followed her downstairs.
"No, a REALLY big streamer some how stumbled across my stream and he asked if we could stream together! This is such a huge opportunity!" (Y/N) explained excitedly.
Her mother smiled as she began to make waffle batter, "That does sound exciting! Maybe I'll watch your stream if I get a break in work."
The mother and child continued to talk together as the waffles were made, (Y/N) helping grab ingredients and with mixing as her mother did not trust her not to burn the waffles.
After about an hour, the waffles had been cooked and eaten.
"I'm gonna go prepare for my stream! Love you mom" (Y/N) exclaimed, already hurrying towards the stairs.
"Good luck honey! Love you too."
