Y/n

I looked everywhere after I pressed her doorbell and waited for her to open it. It's already night but I have to grab my phone. So here I am, in front of Jennie's house door. After a few minutes, the door opened, and I was greeted by a woman who had facial features the same as Jennie's but was older and gorgeous, just like her.

"What can I help you, young man?" and apparently, she also sees me as a man.

"I'm sorry for coming here late at night, ma'am... um, can I meet with Jennie?" she widened her eyes a bit before crossing her arms over her chest. "Of course, young man... can I know your name though?" she scanned me up and down suspiciously. I felt a bit uncomfortable with it so I cleared my throat, "My name is Y/n, ma'am... and actually, I'm a woman... I'm Jennie's friend." I said awkwardly before smiling at her. She then covered her mouth in shock and smiled back at me, "Oh, I'm so sorry. I didn't wear my glasses tonight, maybe that's why I mistook you for a young man."

"Does Jennie wear one too?"

"Pardon?"

"Oh, nothing." She just nodded lightly and turned to call Jennie before she invited me to come inside and offered to sit on the couch. "Please be comfortable like your home." I just smiled in response and nodded.

I took the offer even though I didn't want to stay for a long time. It's awkward enough for me right now.

"What is it, Mom?" Oh, I should have known that was her mom. Damn... she got a good gene from her mom.

"Your friend... Y/n is here." her mom said and went into the kitchen. I heard Jennie's quick steps which made me look up at her. There she is, wearing a plain white shirt and sweatpants, looking simple yet so hot.

She crossed her arms and squinted her eyes toward me. "You didn't attend any classes, Y/n." I stood up quickly and caressed my nape. "Uh... something's coming up, that's why... um, did you find my phone though?" she didn't reply. Instead, she approached me and took my hand. "Upstairs." again? Oh please god, don't let Jennie attack me.

(In Jennie's room)

"Speak," she demanded after sitting on her bed and staring at me. "Can I sit?" I pointed beside her, but she shook her head. "On the ground then?" she furrowed her eyebrows. "No. I'm still mad at you." Oh my. What now?

"Mad? Why, lucky charm?" she rolled her eyes in annoyance before whining softly. "I waited for you in every class that we had together, Y/n... I called your phone then suddenly you messaged me with someone else's number which I don't know who... you're saying that you left your phone at my house... You told me that you're going to come over to get it and then... you're late." Yes, I told her that I was coming over at noon when our classes are usually over by the schedule but Rosé kept me accompanying her at her apartment.

That's why I'm here at night.

"I turned down my best friend for you when she wanted to hang out since I don't want you to be here and then find out that I wasn't at home... but you're not even here. I thought you were in trouble since you ain't here when I'm coming home, waiting for you, baby." She's pouting sadly which made my heart hurt a bit. I felt bad so I crouched in front of her and held her hands. "I'm so sorry, kitten... don't be sad, I'm here now... uh, what can I do for you to feel better?" I looked up at her. Then I saw her facial expression change from sad to mischievous.
