(a/n- this is going to be somewhat of a filler chapter because I am at a huge writing block rn haha, sorry! ALSO thinking this chapter is going to be shorter than normal)
The sun was starting to set and it was getting colder so the 2 guys got up and walked into the building again in complete silence.
This time when they entered the building again George was more attentive to things. Before walking up the first flight of stairs George noticed a room with a door that was darker than usual and it has an engraving of something he couldn't make out.
"Hey, what's this over here?" George asked.
"Oh, it's an art room. I had a friend who painted a lot and I just decided we can put all of his work in a room so it's all kept together."
"Mind if I go in?"
"Not at all"
Dream walked in front of George and took out a set of keys on a lanyard and unlocked the door. As the door opened innumerable amounts of bright colors lit up George's eyes, even though the couldn't see every one. However, there was one picture that got his attention.
It was on the back wall, practically taking up the whole length on the wall. I could tell it was special since there was a gold outline. The painting was of 2 men.
The one to the left had dark brown hair that was wrapped in a bandana. His eyes were a beautiful shade of brown; he had on dark gray sweatpants and a white t-shirt that had a flame in the center. The one on the right was clearly taller than him and had blonde hair with emerald green eyes, looking like they would glisten in the sun. He was oddly attractive and had on black ripped jeans and bright green hoodie.
Honestly, it kind of looked similar to Dream's clothing style.
Dream must've noticed George's staring and came up and stood next to him.
"Who's this?"
"That's my and my friend Sapnap or Nick he painted all of these."
"Wait that's you?"
"Yeah that's me without the mask, I never wore it around Nick. But this drawing is from years ago, my appearance has changed a little."
"Where is Sapnap now?"
"Oh he died about 3 years ago on a mission."
"I'm sorry about that, but what do you mean by mission?"
"We used to be apart of an assassin group and we were the top workers so we constantly were out on missions. On one however we were close to getting caught and as we were running away a cop fired a bullet straight for me and Nick jumped in front of me and he took the bullet straight in the heart."
"Oh my god that sounds horrible."
"Honestly it was, he was my best friend. After that I've never taken my mask off in front of anyone."
That picture will probably be the closest thing George will get to seeing Dream's face.
Unless something happens.
