Next morning...

"All our work is gone...ultron cleared out. He used the internet as an escape hatch." Bruce said in sadness as jaylen was sitting there leaning against the wall glaring at the ground thinking about.. "how could Tony not tell me... im basically his kid." He thought even though he knows that, Tony knew that if he told jaylen, jaylen wouldn't want him to so he guesses he understands why. "Ultron." Steve scoffed out in disappointment mad at Tony and Bruce. 

"Hes been in everything. Files, surveillance. Probably knows more about us than we know about eachother." Natasha said. "Hes in your files, hes in the internet. What if he decides to access something a little more exciting?" Rhodey asked even though he knew the answer to his own question. "Nuclear codes" Mariah hill said and rhodey repeated her confirming. "Look, we need to make some calls, assuming we still can." Rhodey said

"Nukes? He said he wanted us dead." Natasha said "he didn't say 'dead.' he said 'extinct'." Steve said remembering what the creepy robot said. "He also said he killed somebody." Clint cut in "there wasn't anyone else in the building." Mariah added confused and jaylen finally talked. "Yes, there was." He said and looked at Tony basically telling his what to do.

Tony walked forward and showed Jarvis.. or whats left of him. Bruce walked forward in confusion and shock "what? This is insane." He said in disbelief and Steve connected the dots. "Jarvis was the first line of defense. He wouldve shut ultron down. It makes sense." Steve said but he was wrong. "No. Ultron could have assimilated Jarvis. This.. isn't strategy. This is... rage." And thor came storming in, jaw clenched and his knuckles white from how hard he was squeezing them together. Also.. hammer in hand.

He picked up Tony by his neck and people backed away from the scean. "Whoa whoa whoa!" Steve said "its goin around." Clint said watching it go down. "Cmon, use your words, buddy." Tony chocked out at least trying to calm thor down. "I have more that enough words to describe you, stark." Thor said and jaylen not wanting to see his adoptive father get Choked out said "Thor! The legionnaire." He said walking a few steps forward.

Thor let down Tony and he grunted as he stumbled trying to to fall as he was thrown down by a literal God. "Trail went cold about 100 miles out, but its headed north. And it has the scepter." Thor said in annoyance. "Now we have to retrieve it, again." Thor said "genie's put of that bottle. Clear and present is ultron." Natasha said. "I don't understand..." Dr cho started "you built this program. Why is it trying to kill us?.." she asked.

And Tony started laughing. Jaylen looked at him like he was crazy. "What the actual fuck is he laughing for?" He thought in confusion. "You think this is funny?" Thor asked. "No. Its probably not, right? This is very terrible. Is it so-" Tony said and started laughing again. "Is it so.. it is. Its so terrible." He continued still laughing. "This could have been avoided if you hadn't played with something you dont understand." Thor said but Tony cut him off "No! I'm sorry. Im sorry. It is funny. Its a hoot that you don't get why we need this."

"Tony, maybe this might not be the time." Bruce said worryingly. "Really? Thats it? You just roll over, show your belly every time somebody snarls?" Tony asked "only when I've created a murder bot." Bruce said. "We didn't. We weren't even close. We're we close to an interface?" Tony asked and Bruce nodded his head basically saying kinda.

"Well, you did something right. And you did it right here. The avengers were supposed to be different from S.H.I.E.L.D." Steve said. "Anybody remember when I carried a nuke through a wormhole?" Tony asked "no, its never come up." Rhodey said sarcastically. "Saved new york?" Tony asked again "never heard that." Rhody said sarcastically again. "Recall that? A hostile alien army came charging through a hole in space. Were standing 300 ft below it... were the avengers.. We can bust arms dealers all the livelong day, but that up there, thats... thats the endgame."

"How were you guys planning on beating that?" Tony asked "together." Steve said and Tony walked a few steps toward him "we'll lose." Tony said "then we'll do that together, too." Steve said and Tony thought about it. "Thors right. Ultrons calling us out. And I'd like to find him before he's ready for us. The worlds a big place... let's start making it smaller.."

Sokovia..

Pietro maximoff and his sister wanda were walking to some kind of church thing "talk, and if you are wasting our time-" Wanda got cut off by the robot in the chair. "Did you know this church is in the exact center of the city? The elders decreed it so that everyone could equally be close to god." The robot said but wanda not being able to read his mind, walked a few steps forward confused. "I like that. The geometry of belief... your wondering why you cant look inside my head." Ultron said

"sometimes its hard. But sooner or later, every man shows himself" Wanda said and ultron stood up revealing a 9ft tall robot "oh, im sure they do." He said and wanda backed up a step, eyes wide. "But you needed something more than a man. Thats why you let stark take the scepter." Ultron said "I didn't expect..." Wanda trailed off looking ultron up and down as he walked forward over to her.

"But, I saw starks fear. I knew it would control him. Make him self destruct." Wanda continued. "Everyone creates the thing they dread." Ulron said now walking away. "Men of peace create engines of war. Invaders create avengers. People create... smaller people? Uh.. children!" He said and chuckled "I lost the word, there. children. Designed to supplant them, to help them end." He continued. "Is that why you've come, to end the avengers?" Wanda asked the tall robot. "I've come to save the world. But also... yeah." He said and nodded.
