Rose was standing next to Remus in the garden looking down towards the Black Lake where a pretty girl with long brown hair and green robes was arguing with another Slytherin student, this one male with greasy hair. As the girl stormed up she ran right into Remus, not seeing Rose standing beside him, as the younger girl ducked behind the tall werewolf to hide from view.

" Sorry... I did not see you there..." Penelope said in a hurry, trying to get past Remus. Remus took one look at her, and put his hands on her shoulders, making her look up at him.

"Burns? What is going on? Are you okay?" His voice was low and smooth, not wanting to frighten her or the ravenclaw behind him. He knew how sensitive the ravenclaw was to stressful situations.

"No, I am not. I got into a fight with Lily, she stormed off, so I went out to the black lake, where Snape found me, and I guess you saw what happened...." She held onto her arm where Snape had grabbed her. Remus took a sharpe notice of this, she was normally not someone who got into fights.

"Look Burns, Snivellus is an arsehole and you do not need a brick like that around you. You are a smart girl. Just because you fight with Evans, is not the end of the world. You wanna talk about what you got into a fight about?"

"It is rather silly if i am being honest, but it was about a boy." She chuckled a bit about the thought, that they had fought about a boy. Sure they were cousins, but they often acted like sisters, because Petunia, Lily's sister, was just as bad as Snape was. Lily and Penelope had found comfort in each other. Lily found comfort in having Penelope there while Rose had spent most of her life in a mental hospital, only being somewhat cleared now.

"Well, Lupin. I better be going to the library before it closes." Penelope said before leaving Remus and the ravenclaw behind him standing like a question mark.
"Who was that girl, Rem?" Rose Evans spoke softly. Touching Remus on the small of his back with her hand, making the much taller boys look down into her amber eyes.

"A friend of mine Rose. Don't worry." The tall boy smiled before pulling her inside, so she wouldn't catch a cold. His mother would kill him if he was responsible for her being sick in the first month of her being at Hogwarts.

Later that day when the school went to the great hall for dinner, James and Sirius was setting up their prank for Snape when Regulus pulled Sirius away. This made James and Remus shout after him, but never getting an answer, both of them seeing the murder on his face.

Listing away from Remus and Peter, James made his way to the library, hoping to catch Rose before she made her way to dinner having only seen a couple of times over the last month as Remus constantly was at her side. Seeing the redhead in her ravenclaw ropes James made his way up behind her and laid his arms around her waist pulling her close to him. Jumping a bit Rose turn around, Tara ready to take over if needed but when her eyes only met the deep brown of James' she smile and puts her arm around his neck.
"Hallo love" James' voice was smooth and rich as he looks down at her with nothing but love.

"Hey bambi" Rose tease with a smirk on her face. James pulls his head a bit back, blinking at his girlfriend in mock offensive matter.

"Bambi?!" He half shouts in disbelief. "If anyone is a bambi, love, then it would be you. I am a proud and strong Stag." He stats while puffing out his chest.

All Rose did was laugh at the boy in front of her, not believing how lucky she has been to have him in her life.
